Great location if you are visiting Dreams Park.I believe the house was built in the 1800’s, floors creaked a lot with holes in the flooring which were covered with a rug.Our first day there the water didn’t come on, called the owner and in a few minutes a plumber showed up to fix the problem.That was the best service I’ve gotten from any of my vrbo rentals.

Quiet, quaint home that was peaceful and relaxing for the family on our trip to Cooperstown. Only 10 minutes from Dreams Park with grocery store, pizza place, and general store all within 5 minutes. Would highly recommend to any families looking for a place on a visit to Cooperstown.

Great house just outside of Cooperstown

Great location, extremely clean especially for an older home. More than enough space for 6 people (we were only 4). Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Great spot

Clean, well taken care of, and HUGE! The location is convenient to Cooperstown and Dreams park, appx 15 min. The area is very nice. The home is huge, plenty of room for families. Well stocked also. We loved it 😊

HOF weekend

Great location for HOF weekend. Great amenities. Old wood floors and stairs are squeaky but adds to the character of the home. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated to modern standards. We would love to return again if we are in the area

The house was beautiful, very comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything we needed and more in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. We spent most of our time out and about exploring the area, and the location of this place was perfect for our visit. After a long day, we enjoyed a hot soak in the nice tub and lounging while watching one of many DVDs provided. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time. The house is close to Cooperstown Dream Park and the Hall of Fame. The stairs and the road noise was a little tough for us old folks, would recommend this place to anyone playing ball for a week!

Incredible Vacation

We stayed at this location for 5 days while my son played in a baseball tournament at Dreams Park. It had everything and more we could ask for. Kitchen was incredible as we took advantage of the grill and kitchen amenities. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Great dining room and common area to hang out as a family. Perfect distance to Hall of Fame and ball park. Highly recommend.

loved it all! great communication with host & perfect location to Cooperstown ballpark! Cute litte walking community to the "town store". Only a little more loud with all the traffic than im use to but it was perfect for our 2 families!

Great place

Casual and comfortable old house, well stocked with everything we needed, including toys and games. Our seven-year-old grandson took it in, and said it "was just like Christmas." Plenty of space for our three generation family of six. It is on a busy road, so walking wasn't easy, but very close by car to Cooperstown and the lovely surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.

Charming Farmhouse

This Fly Creek Farmhouse was the perfect location for me & my husband. We were in town for the Cooperstown Baseball experience. We did not mind driving back and forth for the numerous rain delays. This 3 bedroom house has everything you need to feel at home. When we weren't at the ballpark we were relaxing at this house. You won't be disappointed. Michele was a pleasure to rent from. I will definitely recommend to my sister who will be coming to Cooperstown next summer.

Easy online booking and remote entry. Had no communication at all with the hosts. We had no problems or reasons to contact Evolve. Property is as described. Very nice well maintained old historic home. On busy road as others have mentioned in reviews so road noise can be loud in evening. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. We love Fly Creek and walking distance to General Store as well as close proximity to Pail Shop Vineyards which is a hidden gem in the region. Love the new restaurant The Buzz and highly recommend!

This was a great home for our week at Cooperstown! The House was easy to find, well-stocked, and it felt like home. It's a quaint older home, but had all the comforts of home. Experienced travelers will remember that not all outlets in older homes are built for three-prongs, and either bring two-prong adapters, or the GFCIs in the bathrooms / kitchen. The public road out front is well-traveled, and leads to all the major attractions. From the home, you can easily access Cooperstown, Dreams Park, Oneonta, Lake Otsego, and other destinations north. A quick YouTube tutorial will help you understand the HVAC system, which was a big help for temperature swings on both ends of the spectrum. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Cooperstown Get Away

We came to the Cooperstown area looking for a few days away and some time to visit the Hall of Fame and do some antiquing. The home was lovely and exactly as promised online. We didn't need to have a lot of contact with Stephen, but the few times we did he was very responsive and very helpful. The house itself is a historic home, so as another reviewer mentioned, the floors are a bit creaky in spots. But that's the charm of a historic home. The place was spotless top to bottom, roomy, spacious and well stocked kitchen and updated bathrooms. The beds were very comfy. Because this is on a busy road, there is some road noise at night. But we found that after the first night it was not noticeable at all. Very close to everything in Cooperstown, lots of great restaurants and antique stores. And a nice little cafe and quilt store within walking distance. Definitely recommend this little gem.

Very big house and clean. Furniture is a little old but nothing that doesn’t work. We were first week of baseball so there were some spider webs that we had to get but nothing bad. Contacting host was easy and very efficient.

Just perfect!

The photos of this property do not do it justice. It is such a warm, charming, comfortable place. It was spotless and squeaky clean upon our arrival. It had everything we needed, plus more. Well-stocked kitchen, toiletries, bedding, books, board games. The list goes on. We would love to stay again.

Terrific house

The property is wonderfully equipped, very close to Cooperstown, and a wonderful getaway. We lived in this house with our 2 children to get away from COVID in NYC, to have space for kids to be able to bike, and for me to work remotely without being disturbed which was impossible at home. This was the perfect place! Highly recommend,

Convenient location!

We enjoyed the house. Felt very “homey” and was stocked well with everything essential! The only downside. . .I’m an early riser, and there was no sneaking downstairs for coffee due to the very loud creaking of the stairs with every step you take! But then again, that’s the beauty of a 170 year old house! Would rent it again if in the area.

Advertised space unavailability

When I researched this property the basement space, play room and bedroom, were displayed in photographs. When we arrived it appeared some renovations where being conducted and we did not have access. The door leading to the basement was padlocked. This information was not conveyed to us and we were disappointed with the lack of notification and availability

There has never been guest access to the basement as it is an unfinished space which we have not photographed or represented as part of the property amenities. It is used strictly for storage, and does not have a play room. Perhaps you are mistaking it with the child’s bedroom? We hope you otherwise enjoyed the bright, large and open rooms and close proximity to Cooperstown and Dreams Park. Thank you!

Perfect for Dreams Park parents

Michelle was awesome to communicate with. very quick with responses. The house was perfectly situated between Dreams Park (10 min away) and Cooperstown (5 min away). It allowed a great place for siblings/ parents to decompress inbetween and after games. Fly creek cider mill is 1/2 mile away. That was a Great place for all ages. Michelle and the owners thought of everything for out of towners. The house was stocked with games and movies. The info notebooks they left were super helpful. We're Hoping to be back in 4 yrs if my 8 y.o son sticks with baseball. Thank you for a memorable week!!
