Location!! Location!! Steps to the Marina and Beach!! Watch the World Famous Sunsets from the front porch or covered patio. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Three Bedrooms. Primary Bedroom has own Ensuite. Large Eat in Kitchen with Dishwasher. Washer/ Dryer on site. Back Patio is great for outside dining and Fire Pit. Bunky is available in the back at an additional charge per night of $100 with own Full Bath Room and Small Kitchen Based on Weekly rental ($150 per night on stays 5 days or less). Close to downtown for more great amenities NOTE: Bunky not available for rent with main cottage from September to May. Bunky only available on weekly rentals

This comfortable cottage reflects lotsa lake experience charm from its characteristic decor to the abundance of amenities with three spacious bedrooms, washrooms, outdoor sitting areas, well equipped kitchen, closeness to the beach and shopping downtown. Additional living space available in the adjacent bunkie offers peaceful quiet time from excited grandchildren! The hosts are thoughtful and generous as evidenced by a welcoming note and two “Lakeside” souvenir t-shirts. We loved staying at this beautiful well maintained cottage.

Biking vacation in Port Elgin

The location of this cottage is excellent. Front patio looks directly over the water and they have beautiful sunsets. The house is fully stocked with everything. Very enjoyable stay.

Amazing location!

Location was amazing and the cottage well equipped. It was unclear from the listing that the main house has 3 bedrooms and the bunk beds are actually in a separate bunkie out back. Still made it work with our 4 kids and had an excellent time!

Family memorial

We had a wonderful stay. It was a very short walk to the main beach -- even with young children. The cottage comes equipped with everything you could possibly need and worked great for the two weeks we were there....even on a couple of rainy days. Highly recommend.

Great stay for a group

I stayed at Greg’s property with a group celebrating a 2 year wedding anniversary. We had enough space to spend time indoors when the weather wasn’t ideal without being on top of each other. The backyard was great for barbecuing and playing games. The view of the boats was so lovely in the morning and the beach was only a short walk away! We had the best time and would love stay again!

Family Fun Time in the PORT

Our family had an AaaMazzzing time at the Lakehouse Cottage!! The accommodations suited our large group of all ages beautifully – it was also wonderful to have 2 1/2 bathrooms! The common living space was bright, open and generous. The location was throughly enjoyed by all in offering lake views, epic sunsets, quick walkway access to the marina and beach area or to the park and splash pad! We can’t wait to go back!!

Great family weekend

Our family was in Port Elgin for the weekend to attend a celebration of life and it also happened to be pumpkin fest weekend in Port Elgin. The cottage was the perfect location, really clean, very comfortable recliner couches in the living room for movie nights and just overall an incredibly relaxing cottage vibe for all of us. Spacious primary room for us to setup our baby’s pack and play for sleeping. The host made communication easy. We would happily book this cottage again in the future.

Perfection

We just spent a fabulous week here with 3 generations. Eating outside under cover or in the back by a campfire was a hit. Private yard in the front as well. So much room inside as well. We never felt we were on top of each other. Proximity to the beach was perfect. First ever fish were caught by the kids 2 minutes from the house. It really was amazing, and we are already planning next year's visit. Thank you
