Enjoyed our stay, it was mostly quiet though I didn't realize there was a train so close by. (Lack my research on my part, not the host)House is definitely on the older side with creaky floors but it was very charming. Laundry is provided and it was a great location.

Wonderful rental and location. The owner was quick to respond and very kind. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around. The only caveat was the listing mentioned an 18 minute walk to campus, and as a crow flys, that would be correct, but it is a 50 minute walk. We came for a campus visit and had to drive.

We were very comfortable staying at this home and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The house was spotless. It is an older home in St Paul that has been tastefully remodeled while keeping some of its original charm. The back yard is very private and there are a variety of plants. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and is about 15 minutes from Como Zoo, and 20-30 from the Mall of America (depending on construction and the time of day). I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Neighborhood

The house was just as described in a beautiful neighborhood that my whole family enjoyed walking in multiple times a day. The only thing that would have made the property better would have been for the backyard to be fully fenced in. However, we really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable home-away-from-home in St. Paul

We extended our 1-month stay to a 2-month stay. A comfy home in a safe and idyllic neighborhood in strolling distance to the neighborhood "main street" with good restaurants and a corner grocery store. The neighborhood was great for walking and running at any hour of the day or evening, and everyone gathered for a 4th of July parade. The 2-bedroom house was perfect for three of us with very comfortable chairs and sofa, and with modern amenities and a washer/dryer in the basement. The owner was incredibly helpful and was available for any help or needs throughout our stay.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood

Everything seemed easy to get to from our location, there was plenty of parking, and a great neighborhood to stroll through at sunset. The house was warm and well-kept, but lacked some of the basic cooking essentials that we would have expected. It was an early season for some of the regional pests that caught us all unexpectedly but the host was very responsive. Overall a great experience, and I'd recommend the stay to others.

Beautiful little house with everything you need in a safe area!

I stayed here for a month since I was working at the hospital and I really enjoyed it. The property has everything you might need from a washer/dryer to heat and AC. I did not experience any issues. The backyard is beautiful. As someone who runs outside alone a lot, staying in a safe neighborhood was important to me and this one definitely was! We really enjoyed the beautiful park nearby. You’re also not too far from the more busy/popular spots but far enough that it’s very quiet. The owner was very responsive to any concerns and I would definitely stay again.

Overall, my stay here was eventually okay, but after arriving at the house, I used the door code that I was instructed to use and it didn't work. After flying here from a long distance, this was the last thing I needed! Fortunately, I had a contact phone number for the manager, and got the instructions emailed to me while standing on the front door stoop. I didn't use the kitchen implements, but it appeared well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfortable and thankfully there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom so that the window Ac unit could be turned off. It was quite noisy. I noticed that the second bedroom did not have a window Ac unit so that room was quite warm. There was one window Ac unit on the first floor that appeared to adequately cool the living spaces. And, there is no hair dryer!I feel that the primary issue I had was the poor communication skills with the manager. There were no instructions for how to operate the TV, thus I called him to ask how to use the TV, and never heard back. Other than the concerns noted above, the apartment was conveniently located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was within walkable distance to a small commercial area with stores and restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely home. Everything was as pictured and host was very responsive to my queries and request for an earlier check-in time. it was a great location for visiting my granddaughter who is at the University of Minnesota. I would stay here again!
