We are sorry for the misunderstandings during your stay. Like many homes in Pagosa, this property does not feature AC, and it is not listed as an amenity. Prior to your arrival, when you realized your mistake, you contacted us and demanded extra fans in every room, which we provided. We also issued a $50 refund for the ceiling fan that stopped working on the day of your arrival, which has since been repaired. Regarding pets, our records show no prior disclosure of any animals. We only discovered that you brought a pet during the post-departure inspection after finding feces on a bedroom floor and fur around the house. We ultimately charged you for one pet even though you, apparently, brought three. Most vacation home owners do not allow pets due to the potential for damage and extra cleaning expenses. Pet fees cover these extra costs and help keep the home "pet friendly" for future guests. As for the religious decor, this cabin is a private home containing a few personal pieces of faith-based art. Your email to me stated "Once the owners decide to rent out their home, they give up the right to preach to the guests." There are no such regulations restricting homeowners from displaying faith-based decor in their vacation rental properties. Our team prides itself on customer service, hospitality and top tier properties. Our reviews, our standing within the Pagosa Community, and our repeat guest bookings reflect all of our hard work. We are sorry we could not meet your expectations.
