It’s all about location with Pacific City Surf Cottage. Step right out the back door to Cape Kiwanda’s legendary beach and classic views of stupendous Haystack Rock. Walk 2 houses to the north to the beachside Pelican Pub or south to the quiet wonders of 484 acres of Bob Straub State Park and the mouth of the Nestucca River. House has great beach access, close to the pub and even easier beach access. House is well appointed (but if you prefer a kitchen wash rag take your own, they provide a sponge which is adequate). Beds were very comfortable. Laundry is very handy.

Great location. Open the back door to the private sandy backyard and beach, or walk 2 houses down to Pelican Brewery. House was clean, very comfortable beds. Layout of home was weird and not displayed in pictures. Living room is upstairs so makes hanging out as a family in kitchen/backyard difficult with a main living area one floor up.

While it's sometimes hard to make the floor plan obvious in listing photos, we also do describe it in great detail on the listing description so our guests are made aware before booking. The next time we re-shoot the photos, though, we will absolutely try to better capture the layout. Thank you so much for the feedback.

One of the large stove top burners did not work. Also, I couldn't find a stainer. The contoller for the TV in the upstairs family room is hard to work. Couldn't figure out how to access regular broadcast TV. Great access to the beach.

Property needs work. Dirty sheets and pillowcases. Had to do laundry. Broken tiles. Dining table literally in kitchen. Livingroom is upstairs. Not ideal for a family group. Beds were comfortable.
