First time booking with Stayz - not a great first experience.Location and bedrooms were what was needed due to travelling for team sports.Bathrooms were not clean, ensuite shower was unfortunately not cleaned. (Pubic hair in drains - very visible) grime everywhere. Main shower was terrible, 8 people staying had to shower in ensuite. Little cockroaches in every room, footprints on wall, build up dust on skirting boards. Chose booking for ‘beautiful backyard’ for kids to play, was completely overgrown and weeds everywhere. Beds were also so hard and very uncomfortable.Not up to standards for 400/night!

Beautiful House

The house and back yard is lovely, plenty of room and in a great location for what we needed. I do recommend a larger bin in the kitchen considering the size of the house and how many people it is capable of holding. The bed and mattress in the main bedroom needs to be upgraded. The bed looks to be on the cheaper side and i was concerned we were going to fall through it, and the mattress is thin and uncomfortable that i left with back pain that actually hurt me to breath. I was in extreme distress over the lack of communication from the host in regards to checking in. No information was provided in the lead up to the stay. Our journey was 13+ hours split over two days, i had messaged the host the morning before arrival as we had started travelling and still no verification if we were going to be able to get in and stay, i was told i would receive the information the following morning on arrival day. We still didnt receive any confirmation. I had to reach out to the host again for the check in information and i didnt get a response until 40 minutes after we were meant to check in. I was extremely upset about this and was concerned that after 13 hours travel we could of potentially been turning up to some one elses house and that this listing was a scam and that my puppy, partner and I could of been sleeping in the car. I really hope the host puts effort into a more organised check in for future customers.
