We certainly respect your feelings, and at the same time, we would like to point out that even before your arrival we had dialogue about the unit you were choosing and the amenities provided being a "starter kit" so guests didn't need to run out to a store immediately, You were not happy about that in addition to other things about the unit, so we offered to allow you to cancel your reservation and book elsewhere. Although outside of cancel policy we offered to refund in full and not charge any cancel fees. We did this precisely for this reason. We never want any guest to feel taken advantage of in any way, nor do we want a review such as this as it really hurts our unit, which is perfect for some families. Other units run specials at different times, as do we, so this is all relative. Providing all of the information ahead of time and allowing you to choose not to keep your reservation was really all that we could do. We certainly wish this had gone differently.
