Wonderful Stay

My family and the privilege of staying in this house during an extended weekend celebrating accomplishments of others. The communication was very responsive and always timely. The house was as described and the neighborhood was quite. I thought the bathrooms being on the 2nd and 3rd floors only would be an issue however it was not. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

99% excellent. Well-maintained beautiful house on a quiet street. A lovely picture-perfect Vermont retreat. The rental price included a fairly hefty cleaning fee. The only issue I had was host requests to take out trash, strip beds and wash and put away dishes as we were leaving. As a guest, I feel that if a substantial cleaning charge is included as part of the rental, someone should be coming in immediately after the checkout time. Therefore, there should be no need for the exiting guest to complete these tasks.

Warm and welcoming in Barre

Wonderful home in Barre with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and 45 minutes from Stowe. The host was wonderful to work with and made sure we had everything we needed!

Family Week

The house was very comfortable. We spent alot of time cooking and playing games. The dining room was large enough for all of us. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable.

The cleanest house we have ever stayed

both for work and pleasure i do stay at fair amount of short term rentals. This house is extremely well maintained and managed. All utilities work perfectly, everything is brand new, and it is definitely the cleanest place that we had ever stayed at. Location is also perfect. Close to bars restaurants mountains whatever you might need.

Great home. Quiet street, close to Vermont relations' home.Space for the 7 of us, plus for our Vermont grandparents and cousins to drop by for a couple meals.Do adjust listing - one of the beds was a full, not queen.

Norwich Graduation

The home was clean comfortable and cozy! The upstairs appeared to be recently renovated and the description did not include all of the accommodation on the third floor. It was absolutely beautiful! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent most of our time away from the home but it was perfect for meals and short stays!

Good location close to Norwich. Great communication with host, and excellent responsiveness to questions. Had an emergency while I was there, and host would have added a day if I needed to do that. Much appreciated!

Overall a great place with nice amenities. That said, we traveled with my 88 year-old mother and the only bathrooms are on the second and third floors, and they are not really suited for elderly visitors (high tub sides to step over and no grab bars). Kitchen counter space is somewhat limited as the cabinets sit flush on top of the counter and the doors can sweep off anything set in front of them. We were visiting relatives in Montpelier so we didn't spend any time checking out Barre.
