Charmant chalet isolé dans le "Pays des lacs et étangs" du Vermont

Falls Cabin is a rustic hunting camp lovingly transformed into a beautiful, year-round vacation cabin retreat. Tucked in the woods alongside Kingsbury Brook's cascading falls, it is the perfect place to return to after a Vermont day outdoors, any time of year. The cabin has a large eat-in kitchen with a spiral staircase to the loft, a spacious living room with propane stove, two bedrooms each with internet TV and a full bathroom. The individual mini-split heat pumps in each room provide custom air conditioning in summer. In winter, enjoy the warmth of the propane stove in the living room in addition to the heat from the mini-split units.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the large back deck before heading out for your adventure, no matter what the season. Falls Cabin has direct access to VAST trail system for snowmobiling in winter and nearby access to VASA trails for 4-wheeling in summer. We have ample parking for trailers. There are trails for mountain biking right from Falls Cabin and hiking trails are also nearby. Stowe, Smuggler's Notch, Jay Peak, Burke Mountain, and Bolton Valley ski areas are all approximately one hour or less away. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and swimming in one (or all) of the many lakes in Woodbury - Vermont's "land of lakes and ponds" as well as ice fishing in the winter. Relaxing around the firepit is a great way to end the day any time of year!

This cabin is paradise. Secluded in the woods with a gorgeous stream running through it. The interior is immaculate and so tastefully decorated. All amenities provided. Really enjoyed our stay.

A very cute, clean and secluded house. The beds are a bit small for 2 couples, would work better for a family, otherwise great all around. The river and forest being so close by make for a very relaxing stay. Thanks!

The Falls Cabin was everything it was advertised to be. The setting was beautiful and the sound of the waterfall relaxing. It was a central location for all our adventures - from Stowe, Lake Willoughby, Montpelier and Burlington. The stars at night are magnificent! Diane was great at communicating with us. Though we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen’s well equipped and plenty of board games to keep kids entertained. It would be great for a family getaway.

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful and we absolutely loved sitting and watching the water flow in the brook/stream in the backyard! We traveled to multiple places that were 45 minutes to an hour away such as Montpelier, Stowe and Burlington. Wonderful place to stay for a Vermont vacation!

Probably the cleanest, neatest and most up to date rental we’ve experienced. Absolutely lovely home nestled in a beautiful nook of Woodbury but not far from stores and amenities. Highly recommend Falls Cabin for anyone looking for privacy, a beautiful landscape and room for 8. Hoping it’s available for next year’s visit!

This property has gorgeous views, the sound of running rivers, plenty of space for kids and pets to run around as well. The house were completely kind and generous and left a lot of amenities in the cabin. All that was needed was to buy groceries! There was even wood you could buy on property for the campfire! I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back with my friends!

Wow! We've stayed at a lot of great places but this one takes the cake. The cabin is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We cooked a full meal one of the nights of our stay and didn't lack for anything. The property is exquisite. The running creek and fire pit made for relaxing evenings outdoors. Hardwick is a quick drive up the road, and you can find all of the supplies you need between the two grocery stores. The co-op is definitely worth checking out for some of the best local produce we've ever had. The area around the cabin is beautiful and only made us wish he had more time to explore the area. Thanks to Diane for the opportunity to stay at their property. We certainly hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.

This cabin was beautiful! The inside feels so open and roomy, the pictures don’t do it justice. The creek access in the backyard was loved by both dog and people (though do be careful on the rocks if you decide to wade in). Our dog loved the expansive yard and we loved the deck, grill, and fire pit. One thing to note, the spiral staircase is a little narrow to navigate, though would be no issue for kids and teens.The host does mention it in the description but it is off-road to access the cabin, so we’re glad we came in a SUV. This location was close to all the spots we wanted to visit during our trip, and the coffee shop just a few minutes north of the cabin was a surprise treasure (Front Seat Coffee, you have to go at least once). If we’re in Vermont again, we will definitely stay here another time.
