Be enchanted and indulge in the unique atmosphere of the Swiss Family Chalet in Andermatt, enjoying an unforgettable family skiing or summer holiday in style.
Surrounded by the natural, year-round beauty of the Swiss Alps, The Swiss Family Chalet is an alpine apartment nestled elegantly in Andermatt, a village of timeless charms in the Urseren Valley. Settle comfortably in three bedrooms and bathrooms penthouse spread over two floors and in a characteristic Swiss combination of old and new.
Tradition meets modernism where materials such as warm woods and natural stone creates an intimate yet contemporary penthouse apartment accommodation. The Swiss Family Chalet has an attractive living, dining and kitchen area unified by a wood-burning fireplace that creates a cosy and comfortable home away from home in the mountains. The three fine bedroom suites and balconies offer a calming retreat set against the backdrop of the stunning alpine landscape.
The Penthouse Apartment is situated on the third floor, accessed either by the lift or staircases. Access to the building is obtainable via the ground floor entrance door or from the underground parking. Two parking bays are available for use and entrance is gained through the automated garage door, accessible from the road via a ramp on the left hand side of the building. Additional outdoor visitors parking bays are available on the right hand side of the building.
On the ground floor accessible through another door alongside the main entrance is the Ski Room: here a designated open locker is available for the storage of skis, poles, boots and sleds. This facilitates the “no ski boots” policy of the building. For the “no shoes” policy of the apartment, baskets have been provided inside the entrance of the apartment.
Andermatt is located at 1,500m and surrounded by 3,000m mountains and offers some of the best skiing in the Alps and is particularly well known for it’s off-piste and ski touring. The Gemstock cable car is literally fifty paces away from the apartment and the Naeschen cable car is a ten-minute walk from the house through the picturesque Old Town.
The Andermatt region offers a wealth of activities during the summer. If you are looking for action against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery, this is the place for you. The village is used as a base for mountain and road biking (Furka, Oberalp, Susten, Gotthard, Grimsel passes), mountaineering, climbing, hiking, paragliding and golf.
