Edinburgh's Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Scotland's most popular tourist destinations. The impressive Edinburgh Castle dominates the area, which sits atop Castle Rock. The castle is home to Scotland's Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny and offers stunning views of the city and surrounding countryside. The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse is the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. Other highlights include the Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, Holyrood Park, the Scottish National Gallery, and St Giles' Cathedral. Edinburgh Waverley Station is just a five-minute walk from the Old Town, and Haymarket Station is just a two-kilometre away. The area has plenty of cafes and restaurants, and The Dome is a popular spot for a coffee or light bite.
Transport links are good and nearby. Waverley Station is a ten-minute walk away down Cockburn Street. Glasgow is an hour away by train and you can get to North Berwick to explore the coast if you want to go further afield. There are many buses from North Bridge which will take you to different parts of Edinburgh. We would recommend going out to Portobello where you can sit and watch the sea or go for a paddle. It’s a wonderful contrast to the bustle of the City and a lovely bracing walk along the esplanade. You can buy a day ticket on the bus and then hop on and off as the fancy takes you. Edinburgh also has a tram system which is currently being extended to go down to Leith.
This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 PM).
Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee.
We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
