Terrible Apartment
We booked this apartment for 5 nights during the rugby world cup. It was a huge disappointment and if we could have moved to other accommodation after the first night we would have.
The apartment was unsafe with one radiator hanging off the wall, the door strip to the bathroom was broken waiting for someone to trip over it, one electrical socket cover was broken and exposing the wiring.
One bed base was broken with the legs having previously been removed and the mattresses on the floor. The other bed was about to collapse and a "maintenance team" turned up late next day without any tools and after 30 minutes their solution was to take off the legs of the bed and placed it on the floor, so now both beds were without proper bed frames and sitting on the floor. I have never experienced this level of disregard for the customer.
The apartment had not been properly cleaned for some time, and had stains on the furniture and cracked/chipped table wear.
We asked that the local Welkeys representative visit to inspect the apartment to see the poor conditions, but they showed no interest in visiting or correcting the problems.
To describe the apartment as "wonderfully renovated" couldn't be further from the truth. I have many photos to confirm this.
An automatic €100 refund was issued hoping that this would somehow make up for this terrible overpriced accommodation.
This was our first stay in a Welkeys property and on this experience we would never stay at one again.
