## Space

Ideally located in the heart of Paris, close to the shops and the emblematic monuments of the capital, you will be in the best place for your stay in Paris.

This cosy 68 sqm apartment, located on the 5th floor without lift, is composed of :
- a bright living room with a view on the roofs of Paris,
- a bedroom with a double bed,
- two bedrooms with two single beds in each,
- a well-equipped kitchen (coffee machine, kettle, blender, toaster, microwave, oven, hotplates, fridge, freezer, dishwasher),
- washing/drying machine, vacuum cleaner, ironing equipment, hair dryer,
- a bathroom with shower,
- Wi-Fi and TV.
→ Hotel quality cleaning is carried out before your arrival and after your departure.
→ Our guests will receive all the essentials for comfort and hygiene such as bed linen, towels, soap, shampoo

## Neighborhood

The 2nd arrondissement is ideally located in the heart of Paris and offers a strategic location to discover the City of Light. You will be able to discover the Paris Stock Exchange or the Grand REX, but above all you will be able to reach the Louvre Museum, the Pompidou Centre (the largest museum of modern art in Europe), the Ile de la Cité and the emblematic and trendy Marais district in less than 20 minutes on foot.
The district is above all a place of life with notably the rue Montorgueil where you can find a multitude of typical cafés, bars and restaurants and the surroundings of the Etienne Marcel station where you will be able to discover a multitude of small boutiques at the cutting edge of fashion.

Lovely spot!

This apartment was lovely. In a great location and had everything we needed. The ceilings were extremely low which was fine for us since we’re all under 5’4” but I’d worry about anyone closer to the 6’ mark being comfortable here. Also up 5 flights of stairs which was fine for us but wouldn’t be ok for anyone with mobility issues. There was some miscommunication about checking out but all in all it was a great place to stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

Property fine- management terrible

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children) stayed in this apartment for two nights last summer. The apartment itself was nice and had a good location. Note, there is no elevator and no air conditioning. It was not a problem for us, but may be for some. After leaving, Welkeys management tried to charge us $2K, falsely accusing us of a cigarette burn in the furniture and a plumbing clog. We don't smoke, and we definitely didn't notice any clog. Once we argued, and they knew we would not pay, they apologized and said they realized "it must have been a different guest". I have no way of contacting the family who owns this property, but we strongly feel they should know that this management company is terrible and likely tries to falsely charge guests and keep deposits. We won't stay here again...Not because of the property itself, but because of how poorly we were treated by Welkeys management. Upon reading other reviews, apparently we aren't the only ones... and this is a common practice for Welkeys. Be careful renting any property managed by them.

Very cozy

The place is nice, but there is no air conditioner so it was very warm. If the windows were open, it was very loud. Would be a great place in the cooler months. Also, if you are tall, this is not the place for you. The ceilings are low. It was cute and very cozy apartment with a nice kitchen. The location was great! Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It is on the fifth floor which we didn't mind, but there is no elevator so its a lot of steps. Jeremie, who met us with the key was very nice and helpful.

A few key things to know

There is good and not so good. Will save the good for last... The following issues may not affect some people and may not apply some times of the year: 1) The ceiling and doors are as low as 6 feet in some places. My son and I are over 6 feet. We managed, but over 6'2" and one would be uncomfortable. 2) There are 94 steps from the street up to the apartment. If you are not in shape and plan to come back more than once per day. plan another site. There is no lift. 3) There is no A/C which is common. Cross-ventilation was generally effective, but there is a LOT of noise on the street including traffic, horns, trucks, and people talking or singing until after 2 or 3 AM. If you expect to have the windows open for cool air, you will have noise. There were many wonderful things, too: 1) Fast and reliable internet (over 100MBits when connected to the 5GHz WiFi channel. 2) Very clean and up-to-date 3) Shower is small, but comfortable 4) Washer that spins fast enough to get clothes mostly dry 5) Many outlets 6) Good fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher 7) Coffee maker 8) Very comfortable beds (single beds are not long, but are new). 9) Very close to one metro stop and somewhat close to others 10) Several stores and bakeries very close 11) Many restaurants within a few blocks 12) Not a long walk to the Louvre or Notre Dame Concierge was wonderful!
