The worst experience I have ever had with VRBO!!!!
I rented this apartment for my employee. She arrived and was not able to lock the door. She was a single female and we decided to have her leave rather than risk her safety.
Also, the apartment was dirty, the only thing that the cleaning people did was make the bed, AND the smell of marijuana was HORRIBLE.
I tried to reach the property Manager, Dean that evening, when she was checking in. There was no answer. My employee had to leave and get a hotel room. We were not able to use the apartment at all. Dean never reached back out to me at all besides sending me checkout instructions at the end of our "stay". When I explained to him that we were not even able to use the apartment, and wanted a refund, he explained that he tried to call me and I didn't answer. He stated that he called the "number on file", and it was just too bad, I wasn't going to receive a refund.
I asked my credit card company to reverse the charges, and now VRBO has sent me over an email to prove my case since Dean will not consider a refund even though we never used the apartment and I have proof that I tried to reach out to him via the message center in VRBO on the night we tried to "check in". Here is the last message I seen from Dean (which by the way, he has NO PROBLEM very quickly communicating via the website now!)
