Located in the private gated community of Watersound West Beach 'Southern Tide' will fulfill all your beach vacation dreams with access to the secluded beaches through Deer Lake State Park. This cozy beach cottage is the perfect family vacation with an open concept living, kitchen, and dining areas that lead to a screened in porch featuring a custom porch swing and outdoor dining table to seat four. The dining table inside seats eight with three additional seats at the bar. There is a propane grill at the home to cook up your fresh catch of the day!

The first floor features a master suite with a king size bed and en suite with double sinks and a walk in shower. The first floor also has a half bath and laundry with a full size washer and dryer. Head on up to the second floor, where you will find a landing area that is perfect for the kiddos with custom built twin over twin bunks. Off the loft area are two guest bedrooms, the first has a king size bed and the second has a twin over full bunk bed. The two bedrooms share a bathroom that has one sink and a shower/tub combo. Additionally the home has two pack and plays for the little ones so don't worry about bringing yours from home!

Need more comfort

The cottage did not have comfortable furniture in the living room for people to gather around. The beach was a bit too far for our group. The pool is very nice and love the neighborhood

Perfect location and home for a spring break girls' trip

This house was perfect for a spring break trip with a group of moms and teenaged girls. The house is the perfect setup for this arrangement and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was a great distance to the beach and pool and is close to Seaside and the Hub for meal outings. The owner was always responsive to our requests - we had a challenge with bikes that was resolved to our satisfaction. The only 2 downsides were: 1) more towel hooks are needed in the property to dry bathing suits and beach towels - a reminder that 10 people create a lot of wet items! You could put hooks in the laundry room, bunk room, and outside deck for starters. 2) access to the Watersound or Watercolor tennis facilities. The listing said we had access to the Watersound fitness facility, which we had trouble accessing. At one time, Watersound guests also had access to Watercolor amenities. We tried to play pickleball one day and had to find public courts. It would have been nice to use the ones at Watersound.

Love Watersound West

Overall the home was great and the perfect size for our family. We loved the porch couch swing, especially morning coffee time. Our refrigerator wasn’t working properly but the property manager got someone out immediately to check that. We loved the easy bike ride to the beach. The only thing that would make it better would be use of the garage and at the cost to stay we believe should be available.
