Caney Creek Cabin - 2 bedroom, 1 bath and Walking Distance To The Lake!

Sit and watch the birds from the large front porch that welcomes you to this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin on a secluded acre that backs up to the National Forest. The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own television. The second bedroom has two twin beds.

The large living room has a full size couch and a love seat with a large tv and dvd player. A hot tub sits on a large screened porch on the back that looks out onto the National Forest. This cabin also has wifi and covered parking for your boat or ATV's

There is a fire pit out back for smores or hot dogs and a gas grill for those steaks. You can take a stroll through the woods or walk to the lake.

Nice enough but on the pricey side

We have stayed at many vrbos and this is proabably the most we’ve ever paid for the least amenities/supplies. The hot tub was okay but about half the jets don’t work. The kitchen has the basic stuff but no supplies-coffee, sandwich bags, maybe a few waters in frig for price?

Older Cabin

My wife and I were able to chill out in this cabin for three nights. It was below par for what I was expecting. The hot tub (which is one of the main reasons I picked this cabin) was stuck at 109 degrees. The thermostat was at 101. I flipped the breaker off and messaged the manager of the property. He said ok, but never followed up on it. The cabin has a nice kitchen. Everything else is older in the cabin. The back porch where the hot tub is located is private, but be careful if you go out the back door of the porch, broken boards. The gas grill works well and the awning to park my truck under was nice. I cleaned off the front porch swing (it’s an old truck seat. Kinda cool 👍🏻 The ceiling fan in the bedroom was covered in dust. Be careful if you have allergies. The overall cabin experience was 3/5 stars. Hope this helps.

Great location and price

Likes: Location is great, close to town/lake. It is nice and quiet, being close to town you expect road noise but there was none except random helicopter flying over. Price was really reasonable compared to others. Dislikes: As others have stated, the beds need to be replaced. Probably worst beds ever had. There is also a musty smell. Overall, we enjoyed the property but would need new beds if we were to ever stay here again.
