The mild climate and gentle waters make Crystal Beach a great place to take the kids for boogie boarding, fishing, and crabbing. Swimming is leisurely, and relaxing is a snap! This secluded Crystal Beach home is just a short drive or fun ferry ride from historic Galveston, just 15 miles away. And nearby, all along Highway 87, you'll find restaurants, shops, and even a small grocery store where you can pick up a few essentials for your stay.

Peaceful and relaxing right on the beach!

We absolutely loved our vacation at five more minutes. The house had everything we needed for entire family to be together. The house is very peaceful and inviting with all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies. The beach is only a few steps away and very accessible. The lift came in handy when we had groceries or bags to take up to the house. We would highly recommend this house and will definitely be back! Thank you, Rick and Elizabeth for the amazing vacation!

Great house

The house was a great size for our family. The rug has stains and under the couch wasn’t cleaned in a long time. The sink downstairs was falling out. The office staff was very nice and offered to send out a cleaning crew but we declined. We mainly wanted them to know for future cleanings. They did send out someone to fix the sink. All in all the house was good for our beach weekend and the staff was responsive.
