Set on a 40 acre equestrian estate, this darling home features a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, indoor and outdoor dining tables, and an inviting living area with comfortable seating and a flatscreen TV. Brew up a cup of coffee and step out into the furnished sunroom to enjoy plenty of natural light no matter the season. And thanks to the complimentary internet access and the desk and chair in the front room, it's easy to deal with any remote work or schooling you may have while away from home. If you want to get out and explore, the estate offers seven acres of wooded trails, pastures occupied by grazing horses, and a lovely pond.

This amazing property is located just minutes away from historic downtown Berlin and the iconic boardwalk of Ocean City. Along Route 50, you'll find numerous seafood restaurants and outlet shopping. Assateague Island, which is only about 10 miles away down Route 611, is perfect for beach days and wildlife viewing (including the famous wild horses). And be sure to pay a visit to Windmill Creek Vineyard & Winery, less than a mile from this property. With so much to do on-site and in the surrounding areas, your stay will surely be memorable.

Relaxing getaway

Very nice place away from all the hustle and bustle.

The place is very nice on a property with horses and right down the road is a very nice vineyard to visit. It is very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely awful and frustrating

I recently contacted Vacasa because I was not happy with the place we booked for this past week. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes to book a hotel. I stated my issues and apparently the local team went to look at it but couldn’t find any of my concerns. I’m attaching my pictures as proof, and I’d like to be contacted. The road name/address was incorrect: Upon entering the house, a giant bear rug/blanket greeted us. It upset my 10 year old daughter that she almost started crying: I knew it was on a working horse farm but not connected to a horse barn. I smelled awful inside the house: There were personal pictures everywhere and personal, opened items in the bathroom: The internet wasn’t working and so then the tv didn’t work. My husband is a computer engineer so he did all the suggested steps and it still wasn’t working. We picked this place because we were in Ocean City for my daughters dance competition, and we wanted somewhere quiet to stay. This place was creepy and uncomfortable. My daughter has nicknamed it the horse poop apartment. The amount of doors and owners closets were also unnerving. We’ve rented plenty of other houses before in multiple states and never had any issues like these. I had to spend another $2,000 to get a hotel room so that my family felt safe and comfortable.

Perfect quiet getaway

We absolutely loved Brooklyn Meadows it was beautiful and just the right size for a small family. The grounds and the horse farm is just stunning and picturesque. Perfect hideaway from busy Ocean City but close enough to take a drive. The ONLY downfall was there was no Wifi or cable service as advertised. The internet was not connecting and after hours of back and forth with Vacasa they promised local management would be in contact with us first thing in the morning. That never happened. No phone call, visit, nothing. I ended up using my cellphone as a hotspot so my kids could watch a movie at night which are away at my data. From what Vacasa told me this seems to be a regular problem there because it’s a remote area. It would’ve been better if they would have been upfront on the listing about the issue from the beginning and we would have been better prepared. Other than that everything was beautiful.
