This is a full-service resort. Your check-in procedures will model that of a hotel and your room number will be assigned during check in.

Wilderness Club at Big Cedar offers the ultimate family-friendly retreat leaving the impression of rustic elegance and ideal extended family vacations! There, you can enjoy the unique charms of the resort's wilderness lodge architecture and its beautiful natural scenery.

Approximately 450 square feet, this spaciously warm and homey state of the art studio features 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa bed in the living area including a kitchenette, bathroom and laundry is in the common area. Maximum of 4 occupants.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

No pets allowed. Subject to $300 fine.

Hotel software has issues

The room itself was okay. Nothing fancy, the microwave and coffee maker didn’t work. They brought us a package of cookies every night which was nice, but didn’t change our towels or change garbage. Our reservation was screwed up upon checking and the front desk was very helpful and fixed it but they said they have had a lot of reservation issues. Our reservation reservation said one restaurant on the Email but in the “system”it was another restaurant on the other side of the property. Overall this property is nice but a long ways from the tourist stuff.

Cute and clean but in heat of summer comfort limited

The room had a cabin-like feel, and the view from the covered balcony was terrific. There was a table to sit on the balcony which was nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the daily cookies left on my door. I did wish there was a full-length mirror in the room but otherwise it had the needed amenities- other than a fan. It was quite hot outside and the thermostat only went down to 68 degrees. There is no ceiling fan or other fan in the room- I would have appreciated some form of air circulation since the temperature is controlled. I only needed this at night, but it kept me from having a good night's sleep. I was going to call the property manager to see if they provide - but I decided not to, so to be fair I don't know if they provide a fan upon request or not. The front desk at the resort seems a little disconnected with the VRBO process and I wasnt sure if it would be complicated to make that request.
