The Loft suite is located in the seaside town of Rockport, MA. Just 1.4 miles from downtown, this 1 bedroom/1 bathroom accomodation is within close proximity to beaches, Motif #1, Bearskin Neck and the Main street shops and restaurants. Also, located just 2.4 miles from Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, providing guests a convenient central location to enjoy all that Cape Ann has to offer!

The LOFT is a private apartment located on the 2nd floor of a multi-unit building and is situated at the end of a residential dirt road, giving it a rustic feel. A cathedral ceiling and hardwood floors flow throughout the living and dining area; furnished with a couch, loveseat and dining set. French doors lead to a spacious bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a closet. A modest kitchenette provides guests with an apartment-sized stove, microwave, Keurig and refrigerator/freezer supplying the basics for light cooking. A full bathroom with a bathtub and shower complete the space. One window A/C is located in the bedroom during summer months and a ceiling fan in the living room. There is one TV which is in the living room complete with Cable and Free Wifi is provided. A small outdoor deck is exclusively available for sitting and relaxing. Free Parking in a shared driveway.

Great location but...

You basically have to clean the place yourself and are still charged a large cleaning fee. They did not inform me that I was to wash all of my own dishes, take out all of the trash, and strip the bed linens in the property description (It's posted on the fridge). Because you are responsible for cleaning all of the dishes, utensils, and cookery...All were dirty. Many plates and utensils had food stuck on them. The bathroom wasn't clean and the closet door wasn't affixed to the closet. Also, I arrived late to the property. There were no outdoor lights on and I ended up falling and busting my knee. I contacted the property people and the next night, lights were on. Also, the people renting the front end of the house fought, loudly all three nights I was there. The property also smelled musty. There was a dehumidifier set up in the main part of the apartment. When I arrived, all of the windows were open...Which was likely in an effort to vent the musty/mold smell in the apartment. It was October...so, I spent my first night rather chilly. Honestly, the location is wonderful, but for the price and cleaning fees, I expected much better. Don't believe that I will stay here again.

Very pleasant accommodations

All the comforts of home! Very quiet and peaceful. Clean and well maintained. The only caution would be the stairs. Very steep, so carrying things up and down a bit challenging. Thankfully, we were spry enough to handle with no issues!

Excellent other than they need air conditioning. Fans did help but needed another one, we brought in one to do the trick. All in all it was five stars!

good location. walking distance to both rockport and gloucester. good internet connection. parking easy. very steep stairs to property that can make walking up a challenge. many ootholes and unpaved dirt road entering the road to property. property was marginally clean. encountered and killed four bugs during our stay.

Cozy spacious apartment

Lovely apartment, kitchen well-equipped, great shower. Host Karen very responsive. Be mindful that there is a steep staircase to walk up to the unit. Very quiet and comfortable.

A slightly rustic feel and off the beaten path location. This unit gives guests more space than a typical hotel room and has a central location to easily enjoy all of Cape Ann!
