Do Not Book This Listing For OU Game Days.

We booked Friday & Saturday for each home game for the OU football season. Months after booking and close to the beginning of the season, the host started canceling our bookings one by one. We were left with one weekend out of five. It put us in a frustrating situation since all other VRBO's and hotels were booked.

We had some issues - but the owner was very responsive

As alumni and season ticket holders, we travel to Norman quite often. We knew the location very well. That being said, if you don't know the area, you need to realize this is a college town and this property is in the midst of a lot of activity. The property is nicely decorated and in a central location where you can walk the city. Kristiana was VERY responsive when we had some issues. The issues were significant enough that we had to leave the property for several hours while the plumbers were there. 1. There was an ant problem. Kristiana brought us some spray and called the exterminator. They did come out the same day, but we were left with a lot of dead ants/bugs around the property. 2. The main plumbing line completely backed-up - the shower stopped draining at the same time the toilet stopped working. Again, Kristiana was able to get a plumber out that same day. We did have to leave for several hours while they worked. We realize parents' weekend at OU brings higher prices, but also do not expect the inconvenience caused by the above encounters.

Overpriced given issues

There were 3 issues with our stay. One, we were not given a check in code and it was difficult to get a hold of the contact number listed. Two, the sorority girls next door who “own” the place accosted us and treated us like thieves while we were simply walking up the stairs to the rental until. And three, there were general maintenance issues that were not well taken care of (for example - clogged toilet, batteries in blinds which are essential given the window wall, parking spot not available as stated in listing). For the price, we will not consider again.

Weekend stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this amazing place. The location was perfect as it is close to our daughters sorority house and walking distance to the football stadium.
