Just a few blocks from the Seawall Beach, this sunny, snowbird-friendly home is perfect for guests looking for a retreat that truly feels like a home. The family dogs are welcome to come along to this lovely space full of details - plus a sparkling backyard pool, along with a jetted tub with seasonal heat during fall and winter months upon request! If you're coming back from the beach, feel free to rinse off in the outdoor shower. The entire backyard patio might become your favorite place to lounge, especially after the fire table is lit. Cook out on the private gas grill, or head inside and cook in the fabulous full kitchen that includes a farm sink, French door refrigerator, and breakfast bar. Central air conditioning will keep everyone comfortable inside, and the electric fireplace will help with cozy vibes. Enjoy free WiFi and cable. Additional amenities include beach towels as well as baby gates for younger guests. This home is all on the ground floor, so no one will have to worry about stairs. All are welcome when it's mermaid time.

Things to Know
One bathroom is in the house and one is off the garage. The latter is a private, full restroom with a standalone shower and a locking door.
Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

A nice place, but needs some love outside

We came here as a delayed honeymoon, knowing nothing about the area. It's Mermaid Time was a nice home with a beautiful kitchen and nicely decorated rooms. Overall the location was comfortable, however there were several downsides. The grounds were overgrown and needed tending (the ivy is growing under the hurricane shutters and all over the porch). The porch furniture, although it photographs beautifully, had cushions that were always soaked, stinky and slimy. The pool was a wonderful retreat, especially with all the mosquito bites I got. There were numerous "mosquito breeding grounds" of places with standing water. The beds were definitely cushy, and read carefully because the largest is a double. Overall, we had a good time and the location was good and the house nice, but it needs some serious work.

The Mermaid

This house needs never to be listed again until lots of issues are resolved. Very dirty and needs a deep cleaning badly. The listing shows things that are NOT there and very disappointing. We wanted a house with a pool/spa and both were dirty or not working. Windows are painted shut and hurricane shutters are stuck closed making it a huge hazard if ever there were a fire. NO grass in the backyard for this dog friendly property. We called 3 times and texted daily and NEVER received a call from the "local team."
