During peak season the cottage is rented by the week only, Thursday to Thursday. Peak season being mid June to mid September. In the off season there is a three day minimum.
This cozy cottage is located in the quiet Seawall neighborhood of Southwest Harbor on Mount Dessert Island. Surrounded by Acadia National Park, you can take advantage of all the area has to offer. Enjoy a fresh, Maine lobster from Beal's Lobster Peir, fishing trips aboard the Vagabond, hiking the many trails on the island, or biking the carriage roads in Bar Harbor. Blueberry Cottage is tucked away in a small neighborhood on Seawall Road. The cottage sleeps two adults +kids. The first room has a day bed with a pull-out trundle, walking through to the second bedroom with a queen size bed. The full bath is located off the queen bedroom. It has a small dining area /living room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. A large backyard with a grill, firepit, and outdoor seating where you can relax and watch the grazing deer. There's also a walking pathway to the shore.
The cottage is nonsmoking.

Arcadia get away

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the laid back area of the Island. We really enjoyed our stay. The blueberry cottage was the perfect base camp

Sweet Blueberry Cottage

Blueberry Cottage was a great little place to come home to at the end of a long day of hiking and exploring. It had everything we needed to prepare breakfast in the morning. Our boys loved seeing all of the deer on and around the property. It was very clean and warm.

Great secluded family cottage

We had a great first trip to Maine. The cottage was very clean and was stocked with many things like extra blankets, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, games, and fans for the summer. We were able to use the oven to cook dinner and store leftovers in the fridge. The brochures and maps in the binder were helpful for planning our activities. We had a toddler and the size of the cottage was cozy and perfect for us three.

Comfortable cottage

We had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Nice out of the way place away from crowds and traffic. Nice to see the deer and wake up to the rooster. Well equipped kitchen and the gas grill was a handy feature, although a lighter stick would have been helpful. Would stay there again.
