This inviting 3BR midtown home is historic on the outside and completely modern on the inside. Contemporary furniture, fresh tile, and gleaming hardwood floors are just a few of many upscale upgrades. The brand-new kitchen has quartz counters and stylish dishware, and a unique sunroom offers a pleasant retreat on sunny afternoons.

Your dog-friendly rental is 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from Los Compas Taqueria. Head to Nick's Kitchen for fresh seafood in just over half a mile.

LIVING AREAS

A screened sunroom, spacious backyard, and three tranquil bedrooms offer plenty of space for your group to spread out in this newly remodeled two-story home.

In the living room, a sleeper sofa and two rocking chairs are complemented by new hardwood floors. Choose a book shelves and settle in on the window seat, or watch a movie on the 60” flat screen TV. A gas fireplace adds warm ambience to the space.

The screened sunroom has modern furniture, offering comfortable seating for four.

KITCHEN & DINING

Sparkling quartz counters and stainless steel appliances shine in the updated kitchen. A side-by-side fridge, gas range, and farm-style sink make meal prep a breeze, and a gleaming subway tile backsplash pairs nicely with the ornate tile flooring.

Gather for meals at the sophisticated dining table set for six. The adjacent kitchen bar has seating for three more.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

The home sleeps six guests between the three bedrooms and the sleeper sofa in the living room.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen-size bed, 60” TV, and beautifully redone en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and double-sink vanity.

The second bedroom features a queen-size bed and a 55” TV, while the third guest room has a set of twin-size beds.

Pristine tile adorns the walk-in shower in the second-floor bathroom. A half bath on the main floor offers added convenience.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Step out to the fenced backyard from the sunroom, where a gas grill is at the ready for afternoon cookouts.

EXTRA AMENITIES

Guest amenities include a laundry room, unassigned street parking for a maximum of four cars, and complimentary Wi-Fi. This is a dog-friendly rental.

THE LOCATION

Galveston Beach is less than half a mile from your door, and an array of restaurants await within a quick stroll. When you're craving seafood, head to Shrimp N Stuff in 8 blocks, or drive to Miller's Seawall Grill for Gulf-side dining.

Galveston Go Karts and Fun Center is an 8-minute drive from the rental, and the Bryan Museum is just a 6-minute jaunt. Don't miss the Sunday morning breakfast at iconic 1892 Bishop's Palace in 2.6 miles.

Creative cocktails are on the menu at Daiquiri Time Out in 2 miles, and Island Pier Club is your go-to pub equidistant. Ben & Jerry's has sweet treats in 3 blocks.

Home Away from Home
This home is in a wonderful neighborhood. It's a quaint, but spacious home. It's approximately 2-3 blocks from the seawall; an easy walk. My favorite part of this home is the screened in day room. Each morning, instead of hearing vehicle, you can hear the waves of the ocean. It's so peaceful. Also, this time we used the fireplace which was cozy and beautiful.

Amazing, Amazing home
Everything the home was very clean homey the kitchen I really love cooking in it had Everything you need. Even though I had to deep clean the coffee pot last family left coffee grounds in the the filter and there were so mold around the rim but I clean as much as I could but over was amazing the sun room love sitting out there thanks so much for allowing me and my family to stay there, will be back.

Lovely Home
There is so much positive to say about this lovely home away from home. Beautifully decorated…loved screened in porch…bathrooms were perfect…close to everything Galveston…nice neighborhood. I def will stay again when I return to Galveston.

Woodrow Manor is in a great location
We loved the location. We were safe, happy, and comfortable. It is a quiet neighborhood. The home has everything you need. I didn't cook this time, but the kitchen looks fantastic and if we return to Galveston at a later date, I would love to cook in this kitchen. The showers are big and roomy. The water pressure is great! It was too hot and humid to really enjoy the outdoors, but there is a screened porch. There is a beautiful old magnolia tree in the front yard. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. Once the sun came through the shutters, you could see that there needed to be some dusting done on the furniture downstairs. And the backsplash behind the cooktop needed a cleaning. The front door has mildew which could be fixed with a wipe down. The screen porch needed a good sweeping. I did find a broom and swept some of it up so we would not track it back inside when we took our little dog outside. The grass has not been mowed in quite some time. I think there has been a good amount of rain that contributed to that as well. When I took out our trash, I noticed the bottom of the bin could stand to have a cleaning too. All in all, it was nice and I was able to fix the things that were bothering me.

Great Home
I want to be selfish and give it 2-stars so we can always rent, but it is definitely a 10-star. We are in an age where we want beautiful, clean, close to the seawall, near restaurants; this is the place. The owner has impeccable taste. Love sitting in the screened day area, which you can hear the waves instead of the cars. It's truly one of the safest, best neighborhoods. We truly thank the owner for opening the house to us to rent.
