THINGS TO DO:
We feel we have the best location in North Georgia. Just 15 minutes to Georgia's #1 visited resort town, the Alpine Village known as Helen. Tube the "Hooch" as they say or eat some great food in Helen. There's even a roller coaster! Helen is also home to a genuine Alpine Octoberfest from September to November.
Oh, and don't forget we have a helipad. So if you really want to kick your trip up a notch consider renting a helicopter for some epic rides in the mountains. Most people use the helipad for some mean pickleball matches as we have a portable pickleball net and paddles available in the deck box on the helipad.
If you want something a little more sophisticated consider a Georgia Winery tour along Georgia's Winery Highway.
Rent a boat, jet ski, or other watercraft on Lake Chatuge, just a 30 to 35 minute drive from the lodge.
The hiking and waterfalls in this part of Georgia are some of the nation's best and you don't want to miss the paved hike to Ana Ruby Falls. There are numerous other waterfalls to find in this area as well. The Appalachian Trail runs over the very mountain you will be staying on.
Bring your ATV and explore many of the area's off-road adventures. Just don't forget to put a triangle on the back. You can drive it into Helen if you do!
Whatever you need for your family reunion, corporate retreat, church retreat, or other celebration, we've got you covered at Bison View Lodge.
The Space:

Let's talk cleaning for a minute. Did you know that most cabin owners in North Georgia don't wash the blankets on the bed every time a new guest comes? Isn't that alarming? How do we know? We've asked dozens of cleaners over the past few months and that's what they told us.
At Bison Lodge, we're proud of the fact that we launder all the linens, including bed blankets every single time we change over guests.
Not only is all bedding washed, but we use a commercial laundry service that specializes in high end boutique hotels and luxury lodges. They clean with exceptionally hot water to make sure your linens are beautiful, soft, and most importantly very clean. We acknowledge our cleaning fee is higher than most, we want our cleaners and laundry service doing a great job for you and we will spare no expense to get you not only the best property for your corporate retreat or vacation, but also the highest quality cleaning services in the area.
Our properties also feature industry leading Alen air purifiers. These magical machines that take dust, airborne allergens, and even can clear out Covid-19 particles out of the air. Bison Lodge has the best indoor air quality in the mountains! And why not, you deserve it.
