As seen in other reviews, this neighborhood is not updated. The majority of the homes on this street are abandoned, boarded up, and vacant.
That being said, our stay was excellent. We felt comfortable enough to sit on the front porch and drink coffee and read a good book. So while the drive up was off-putting, the experience was quite nice. We did hear some music from a few doors down, but it was not obtrusive and once inside, we really couldn't hear it at all.
The home was as described in the listing. The beds were all new and very comfortable. Pillows were very flat, so if you like a plush pillow, pack your own. A.C. ran cool and reliable all weekend. The upstairs is definitely warmer than downstairs, so be prepared for that. There were 3 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bath downstairs.
The kitchen was well-appointed and met all of our cooking and food prep needs. Super short driving distance to all the attractions we wanted to see. We could have walked, 10-20 minute walk, but with an 84 year old with us, we just drove.
This home was perfect for our multigenerational vacation.
