This cozy mountain retreat is located conveniently between Boone and Banner Elk! At four bedrooms and four baths, it has room for the whole family, and a great yard for your furry family members. With creek frontage and seasonal views of Grandfather mountain, you'll get a taste of all the fantastic natural features of the high country!

On the main floor, you'll find two bedrooms, the king master with spa like ensuite, and a cozy queen bedroom just steps from the full hall bathroom.
Upstairs you'll find the two additional bedrooms with another King bed, and a perfect kids room with two double beds.
​​​​​​​The lower level walks out to the patio and has a pool table, bar, and woodburning fireplace. The fourth full bathroom is here for guest use.

This home was designed with vacationers in mind from the fully stocked kitchen, to the game room complete with activities for the whole family; pool table, darts, and video games! If you're here to enjoy the great outdoors, you won't need to go far. This property is steps from the creek with views of Grandfather mountain and rare open yard space for all sorts of fun. It's truly a mountain retreat for the whole family.

Additional Notes:
-This home allows pets. Limited to 2 mature, well trained dogs only.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night plus tax
-Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am.
-This is a paved driveway with capacity for 4 vehicles. 4WD or AWD is recommended during winter months November-March when traveling to the High Country.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you. We do not provide hair dryers.
-Repeat guests of Chalet by the Creek will receive a 5% discount for visiting again!

Guests who cancel at least 31 days before check-in will get back a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival, are non-refundable.
