Listing is very misleading
This listing is very misleading. This house is not on the lakefront. You would not even be able to walk to the lake even if you tried. I don’t know when was the last time there was water close to the dock of this house or the ones around it as there is very high brush and weeds everywhere. All the docks were pulled up close to the house and appeared as if they hadn’t been used in years due to the lack of water. We picked this house because it said “lakeside” and that is absolutely not the case. We had hopes of fishing but the closest water that we could see was at least a mile away. Also this is not a 3 bedroom home. It is 2 bedrooms with a set of bunk beds in the hallway (another misleading description). There is also a third floor to the home but it is not accessible to guests (not sure what is up there). Otherwise, the house is nice and new. It was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The pool and outside area were nice but if we just wanted to rent a house with a pool, we could have chosen something in our home town. The alluring fact that this house was supposed to be close to the lake is what drew me in but, that resulted to be false. It was very disappointing as we rented this house to celebrate my father in law’s birthday and he wanted to spend it on the lake.
