Completely outfitted home on private 1.7 acres. Rushing mountain stream nearby. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the soothing sound. Approx 25 minutes to multiple national and state parks, including: Grayson Highland , Mt. Rogers, Hungry Mother, Mt. Jefferson and The New River with many VA and NC parks/family recreation areas. Kayaking, hiking, biking just to name a few of the great opportunities. Enjoy dining or shopping in Independence, VA, Galax VA, West Jefferson, NC, or Sparta, NC. Enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway and all it has to offer or stay "home" and enjoy the peace and quiet in this secluded and beautiful area. If you are looking to "unplug" (or almost anyway), this is the perfect place for you to soothe your soul and refresh your outlook on life. For those of you who cannot unplug, there is high speed internet. There is full kitchen gear with all new dishes, cookware, and silverware. Keurig duo for coffee, air fryer, microwave, wine tools, and gas grill outside. We tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is large, spacious and allows plenty of space for family or friends to cook together. The three bedrooms are all spacious with plenty of closet space. There is one office/multipurpose room that also has a twin bed. There is a game room space in the basement with a few games provided. Bring your favorites to enjoy as well. There is a full basement so there is plenty of room to store coolers, bikes, or luggage. If you are a casual hiker, the road on which the house is located is a perfect place to walk. For the more serious hikers, there are a multitude of trails in the parks previously mentioned. If you enjoy fine dining, The River House in Grassy Creek, NC is exquisite. Reservations are recommended. Also, enjoy Red Dog Bar and Bistro or Sarah's Restaurant. There is a nice grocery store just 10 miles away...Food City in Independence, VA. There is a welcome package that gives details on attractions, dining, and more.
