Whispering Woods Chalet - Over 60+ acres!

Summary:
Your UP North Retreat! Pull into the attached and heated 1-car garage, fire up the wood stove & disconnect from your devices! Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck watching the wildlife wake up. Spend your days exploring the property trails & look for water fowl nesting in the private pond. Jump on your ATVs or snowmobiles & enjoy 100s of acres of county land surrounding the property. Downhill skiing at 3 different resorts is less than 15 minutes away & snowshoe from the front door.

The Space:
Spacious and open country home located in between Ironwood and Bessemer, MI.

We have 20+ miles of quiet trails accessible from the house.

Guest Access:
Guess will have full access to the home and attached garage. The large, green pole building and smaller detached buildings are not available for renter use.
Renters have access to the home and attached one car garage.

The Neighborhood:
Located at serene part of Erwin Township that dead ends at McDonald Lake County Park (amazing kayaking!), this is the ultimate place to relax and unwind. The nearest neighbor is about 1/2 mile away. You are surrounded on 4 sides by tall trees and trails to help you explore nature.

Getting Around:
Ample parking for all. One indoor spot in the attached garage for your car or SUV. The road is plowed and maintained to keep it clear and safe. For anywhere with snow ensure you have good tires to keep from getting stuck. The best cell service at the property is AT&T.

Other Things to Note:
There is currently no internet or wifi available. This is a retreat to disconnect from your devices and reconnect with nature! If some access to internet is necessary, a pocket wi-fi device can be provided for your stay, but the signal is not strong enough to stream multiple devices.

Interaction with Guests:
This property is a part of the Superior Getaways family & is managed by Longhini Property Management, a local family-owned business. LPM is available 24 hours a day during your reservation and is here to answer any of your questions!

Ski weekend

Great new house, easy to get to Snowriver, ABR, and all the other good stuff. And once the sauna and hottub are up, oh boy! This place would be awesome in summer and fall too!

Weekend Trip

The house was just as described. Very clean with plenty of room. Nice quiet location but still within 15 minutes of towns with multiple things to do. Highly recommend staying here.

Ski weekend

We had a great time skiing for two full days and coming back to this cabin each night was the cherry on the top of a great family weekend. We felt very at home and comfortable in this cabin. We will definitely come back. The cabin was stocked with necessities including condiments, coffee, towels etc. The hiking trails in the property were beautiful. Our night hike was amazing.

Quick Winter Getaway

Brought the snowmobiles up and wanted a place where we could all stretch out. Watched the Packers win at a place the host recommended. 4 star experience there! My teen boys loved having their own rooms and I loved having a place for all the winter stuff. The wood stove was the best way to warm up after being out in sub zero temps. Thanks for some great memories!
