The outdoor space at this lake house is equally impressive. The oversized outdoor patios provide plenty of space for outdoor dining, lounging, and entertaining. The large backyard is perfect for kids to play and run around in, and the swimming pool is a refreshing and inviting place to cool off on hot summer days.

The boat dock is a great feature for anyone looking to realx and fish or swim off the dock. Also a great sunset spot.

Located just one hour from downtown Dallas, this lake house is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its quiet and peaceful surroundings, you'll feel like you're a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life.

Could've been better

I have mixed feelings about our stay at this property. First of all, our reservation was mysteriously canceled and we had to re book directly with the property owner, which apparently is a property management company.They said they sent an email stating that our reservation was canceled but i only got emails to sign the agreement & a reminder about our check in. The only way i found out that it was canceled was when i texted asking for our check-in instructions, which i never got. They apologized for the misunderstanding & fortunately, it got sorted out 2 hrs before we checked in. We then got to the location to be met with a full trash bin, and cob webs outside of the house.The inside of the house is beautiful, but was also filled with cobwebs.The back patio appeared to have not been swept, and the walkway to the pool was hard to navigate due to the overgrown shrubs. The walkway also had some loose, unstable pavers making it difficult to walk on certain places, not to mention the huge ground yellow jacket nest by the cut down tree stump.The fishing dock walkway was missing a few planks making it easy for someone to fall or injure themselves, and the railing is extremely unstable. We were able to enjoy our stay & made the best of it. But from all the VRBO's we've stayed in, I can't say this was the best experience. Maybe the next renter will have a better experience. The house is pretty nice but could've been better.

Beautiful lake house

We had a great stay. The location of the property and the property itself were just amazing. Enjoyed it and would like to go back there again. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay at the lake house
