Beautiful

House was beautiful, right on the water. Outside seating was perfect. Kayak was available to take to the sandbar, which was so much fun! And the dolphins were a hit! Jason was very responsive and accommodating.

Amazing view of dolphins

The property and location is absolutely beautiful. We watched dolphins play and perform for us daily. The house was clean upon arrival. There were however, a few discrepancies with the listing. It is listed on VRBO as a 4 bedroom. It also says that 2 of the bedrooms have queen beds. It is not a 4 bedroom, it is a 3 bedroom and 2 beds are double beds. It is also worth mentioning the 2 bathrooms are both located inside the 2 main bedrooms so there is not one main bathroom. This was not an issue for us but may be for other renters. A couple in our group found their bed to be uncomfortable when we alerted the property owner he was quick to fix it and ordered a mattress pad which was perfect! The property owner, Jason was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. We also rented a boat that was easily delivered to our location which made our stay that much more. Overall, we had a great stay and the location was the best! I would recommend this property to others and we hope to return.

We loved it

Dolphin house is beautifully situated on the canal with a spectacular view of Sarasota bay. We loved our time there and enjoyed watching the dolphins feeding every morning right by our dock. The house was clean and well appointed and the host was very attentive. Highly recommend. Ben

Great Location!

We booked a father and son’s vacation. The home is very clean and quaint. Jason was a very attentive and informative host. This is a great rental for families who enjoy outdoor activities. We had use of the kayaks and bicycles. The fishing was very good in the canal and bay. The dolphins would visit several times daily. We definitely would rebook again in the future.

A week at the Dolphin House

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the “Dolphin House” which was an accurate name for the property since we had visits at the pier behind the house most days from dolphins living in the bay, which delighted all of us, most especially our granddaughter. Both the sunroom in the back of the house and the outdoor space overlooking the bay are great places to hang out with family and friends. Very quiet and private property. Also close to Shell Beach, a lovely place to watch the sunset each evening. All of the three bedrooms were fine for our needs. Loved eating in the breakfast room right off the nice kitchen, where we could look at the marvelous large banyan tree in the backyard. Jason was a great host, very responsive to our requests and questions. Like us, he’s new to the VRBO system, but we figured things out together. Hope we can return again next Winter.
