Located in the historic town of Bisenti, (home of Pontius Pilate which is 2 minutes walk from the apartment) everything is within very easy reach including bars, restaurants, playground, supermarkets, bakers, butchers, post office, bank, petrol station, artisan chocolate shop, beauty salon, hairdressers, barbers and community garden. There is a pizzeria across the road and a bus stop servicing the main towns, a minute’s walk from the apartment. There are a number of self guided walk around the old town to explore. Bisenti hosts a huge wine festival late September/early October and has various fiestas throughout the year. It is the gateway to the Gran Sasso and ideally located, the beach is a only a 45 minute drive. The apartment is 180 square metres with a 55 square metre terrace that is bathed in sunshine, a wrap around balcony that is accessible from every room, two bedrooms with one king size bed and two single beds. A dedicated work room with Wi-Fi. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bath/shower. Features a new television, new washing machine, new fridge/freezer and new hairdryer. The terrace is equipped with two loungers, a sofa and table/chairs for sunbathing and al fresco dining. The apartment also comes with secure off-street parking.

Originally from the U.K. I have lived in four countries including Canada, Ireland and now Italy. I am a mother of three young boys, I live in nearby Arsita in the mountains with my husband and our animals which include horses, dogs, cats, turtles, and gerbils. In my spare time I like to work on producing art, my favourite medium is clay and acrylic paints. I have added some of my art to the apartments to personalise them. Having worked for many years in the area of customer service within a challenging environment and having immersed myself in different cultures, I have an appreciation of what guests are looking for. I feel very passionate about hosting as I want my guests to have the same experience and enjoyment I felt when I first came to Italy.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

I chose Bisenti, as it has everything you would need all within walking distance of the apartment. For example, bars, restaurants, playground, community garden, petrol station, bakers, butchers, artisan chocolate shop etc. I liked the atmosphere of the town and the winding streets which lead out to the village square. The locals are very friendly and the apartment is directly opposite a pizzeria which is run by a lovely family for many years. There are lots of fiestas throughout the year, during late September/early October there is a wine festival which is very popular. The apartment is ideally positioned for all of these events.

The apartment is very large at 180 square metres and a 55 square metre terrace. The terrace is very sunny, which is why I have provided two sun loungers so that it is possible to sunbathe. There is a more formal outside seating area, and two comfortable sofas in which to sit, enjoy a glass of wine and read a book. The bedrooms all have access to a balcony. There is also a separate office in case there is a need to work whilst away from home. The apartment has been equipped with a new washing machine, new fridge/freezer, and a new television. This apartment has secure off street parking.
