We are an active family so you will likely see us in the garden, or outside playing basketball.We also entertain fairly regularly and host friends for dinner at our house.

For some, our spot might seem remote, however, the cottage is situated directly behind our house and is located in an active neighborhood, only 10 minutes drive to Nederland and 25 minutes to Boulder.
Our neighborhood has great walking, friendly neighbors, dynamic weather and a beautiful dark sky. While staying here you are close to activities and amenities while also experiencing the remoteness of the mountains.

The cottage is a cozy studio layout for you to relax, and enjoy the quiet and surrounding nature. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are one space. There is no TV, however, Internet is available on the property for your own devices. There is a private porch off the back of the cottage perfect for early morning coffee or to watch the stars at night. The cottage shares another deck with the main house.
The cottage is close to national parks and forest, enjoy hiking and biking in the summer and fall and in the winter enjoy nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing. Hiking, biking trails, and the local ski area are all nearby and just 10 minutes to the town of Nederland. You’ll love the spot because of access to nature, the decor and the location.

- comfortable two seater couch
- Queen bed
- table seating for 2
- refrigerator
- electric stove/oven
- plates/cups/silverware
- coffee grinder and french press
- kitchen utensils
- microwave
- shower
- few essential items
- speakers
- outdoor dining table/chairs
- gas grill with cooking utensils
- large, flat yard
- parking in the driveway
You need a car to access the airbnb, the road is well maintained and there is parking in front. Winter driving can be hazardous and we recommend your vehicle has all weather tires and is either front or 4 wheel drive.
The walkway from the driveway to the cottage we keep dark, in order to preserve our guests and neighbor's enjoyment of the night sky and not to disturb the local wildlife.
