Perfect location for our family, short walk to the beach! Close to Shelter Cove, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Very enjoyable vacation!

The property was very large and easily accommodated our group. The kids loved the pool and proximity to the beach. We enjoyed our time there . There were some initial challenges and the management responded well with one exception.: this property had long standing water issues . We couldn’t use the game room as it was flooded the entire time. We reported twice but no one came to help clean it. Hard to tell where the water came from. The trash room was wet constantly and was moldy. It was unhealthy to have to enter to put trash there. There wasn’t enough flatware but we made due. Hopefully they can add more soon.

On September 2, 2026, my family and I checked into the rental and was greeted with a damped mold smell. As my party walked through the rental we noticed several holes in the floor and scuff marks throughout the interior walls of the home. In addition, dead and live bugs were found on the kitchen counter top, sofa and in one of the master bedroom suite vanity counter top. Also, there were long cracks in the floor of the living room. Furthermore, there was no access to the garage nor the game room and the pool area wasn’t clean. Unfortunately, this was a bad experience and my family and I vacated the rental upon arrival due to non-habitable conditions. *A permanent resident in the neighborhood shared with my family and I that the rental have a serious mold issues and pool leakage problem and the garage and game room have water floating and that’s why the garage, elevator and game room have no access. When we shared the issues with the property management company expecting a fair resolution as we didn’t stay at the rental they were unwilling to provide a fair restitution. This property is advertised as luxurious and it’s anything but. Renters be aware!

Do not rent this house. The photos you see are not what you get. We have rented beach houses for 15 years and this was the worst. The basement you see with what looks like miniature golf is a flooded basement. Could not be used. One bedroom had two broken beds. The balcony doors were almost impossible to open, as well as the sliding glass door in the family room. The tile floor on the main floor, which includes the family room and kitchen had such huge “pot holes”, it’s completely unsafe for small children or toddlers who crawl. The paint job on the walls and cabinets were disgusting. Photos are attached. The location is great, the bedrooms are spacious, but that was not worth it. We had to call the owner on multiple occasions, one being, we could not open the garage door, who knows why. We were stuck there for hours and could not go anywhere because our car was locked in the garage. Twice, a maintenance person came and quoted “this has been a problem before. Bottom line, these owners don’t want to invest in this property. They are going to get as much money as they can. Again, look at other properties

Nice location semi oceanfront, easy access to an area that was never crowded. Beach is beautiful here, especially wide at low tide, great for bikes, walks, games, or whatever. Not buggy at all. There is a small but very useful plunge pool, and the living area was roomy enough for our entire group of 12. Beds were comfortable. There’s a nice sunrise view from the house main room and balconies. Super helpful to find a dog friendly place that is this nice.The house is a little worn with age and use, but everything is still functional. The garage game room was of very little use (no AC, humid as heck) except for as storage and had a lot of constant dripping or leaking water from above. The trash room concept is gross and smelly but hey - it is called a trash room. Sadly it is the only way into the garage.Property manager was very responsive to issues - first level AC was not maintaining temp when we arrived and they were there on Sunday to service it. The pool was dirty on arrival and they had someone out Monday. So huge props to them on responding but maybe they need a little more oversight of their service people to have it right at the start.Kroger is just around the corner as are all the main shops you need. We’d stay there again for sure.

Such a Great Weekend

We celebrated our 38th anniversary with all our kids and their spouses and our grandchildren.It was a great weekend! (Understatement!)Even though it wasn’t warm, the pool was perfect!The beach was such an easy walk.The 2nd and 3rd floor balconies offered such a wonderful view!The house has some dings, but I think it’s in great shape considering its age and the amount of people who have used it over the years.Beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 21 of us. Loved the TV’s in every room including the garage.The game room area (converted garage) was a good refuge for the “kids” (even the adult ones. )Alex was great to work with! Super professional. Quick to answer his phone and give the info I needed.The parking is a bit tricky. Only allowed 4 vehicles, so we had to have one person be transported to park elsewhere or it was a 250 fee.But we made it work.We all agree that we’d rent again in a heartbeat.Thanks!

This house is very spacious. All rooms are big and well equipped. The pool is small and built into the patio. A good place to cool off, but not really big enough for much else. We bought additional paddles and balls for the ping pong table and balls for the foosball table. We left them for others to enjoy. The garage is where the additional fun activities are housed. You have to exit the house and walk down to the garage. There is no access from within the house. There is only one fridge, but there is a beverage cooler in the kitchen so it worked out well. The freezer did not make much ice. We bought bags of ice and kept them in the freezer for use. We had a party if 15 and never felt crowded. The a/c has a different unit for each floor and that was nice. It was hard to regulate the temp on the top floor. All in all this was a great house with a great location. We left a few menus from places we enjoyed. I hope that benefits future renters. Bonnie in check in gave us some great points of interest. Hilton Head is a wonderful vacation spot. We will be back.
