Acadia is wonderfully dog-friendly, with many nearby trails, parks, and even restaurants welcoming pups, so we always encourage guests to bring their dogs along for the adventure! Because the yurts are canvas structures in a new environment with unfamiliar sounds and smells, even very well-behaved dogs can sometimes become anxious and bark when left alone for extended periods, which can impact neighboring guests. Short outings are absolutely fine, but we hope our pet-friendly guests can enjoy experiencing Acadia together with their furry companions whenever possible! 🐶
