An exclusive bushvilla at the Kruger doorstep, within a golf estate.

Hans Merensky Bushvilla is located within the exclusive Hans Merensky Golf Estate, a mere 10 minute drive from the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger NP. Right in front of the 18-hole golf course, the villa is made of 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms and 3 different lounge areas. The main lounge, which opens to the pool deck, is amongst all the rooms and close to the kitchen, with a dining area. The second one can be accessed directly from the garden room and has a bar corner, a built-in gas braai (bbq) and a dining table comfortably accommodating 8 people. By opening the sliding doors on both sides, it becomes a patio open to an outdoor sitting area and to the infinity pool. The third one can only be accessed from outside, though being still part of the main house. It can turn as well into a covered patio by opening the 2 large sliding doors. A large flat tv screen and a music station can be enjoyed by sitting on a large couch. The infinity pool has a view on the golf course, often visited by warthog, giraffe, impala and other antelopes. The outside area is completed by a boma with an open sitting area, a fire place and wooden pizza oven.

The Hans Merensky Golf & Spa borders the Greater Kruger National Park. Though there are fences in between, animals often come through, also on the account of the river flowing through the estate. Leopard and spotted hyena are common resident within the estate, while lions and elephants only occur occasionally. The Phalaborwa gate of Kruger National Park is a mere 10 minute drive from the villa. On request, we can arrange daily game drives inside the park, but also multi-day packages, 4x4 expeditions, overnight in 2 hides inside the Kruger NP (providing availability), river cruises, walking and birding safaris, cultural tours to local villages and communities. Max is the founder of an Italian boutique tour operator, pioneer in journeys distinctions to Southern Africa since 1998, including TV documentaries and photography travels. He is also the owner of a South African tour operator focused on guided 4x4 self-drives and 4x4 expeditions off-the-beaten track in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique.
