Splash Away at Sea Pointe is a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo only steps from the beach in Kill Devil Hills. This new condo at the Sea Pointe community offers semi oceanfront views. Relax in the warm and inviting atmosphere that has been tastefully decorated with a coastal flare. One bedroom has a new king sized bed, and the other has 2 beds (full bed and a twin bed). Enjoy TVs in every bedroom, outdoor pool, outdoor shower, elevator, grilling area, large covered deck, and all new appliances. This condo also has, for your entertainment needs, a DVD player, books, games and movies. 4K Smart TVs - 50" in living area, 43" in Master and 32" in other bedroom. Splash Away is conveniently located at MP 9.5 in the heart of Kill Devil Hills on the beach road. Go to The Kill Devil Grill, Beachcomber Tiki Bar, & Miller's Seafood, all within short walk. Most importantly, the beach is just steps away! Direct ocean access is across the street (just 600 feet) with a gazebo with seating. After a great day at the beach enjoy time on the spacious covered deck. Great rental condo for small families and couples looking for extra space. Covered parking. Washer/dryer. WiFi.

Great condo!

Awesome condo in great location. Easy beach access. Clean upon arrival. Ceilings are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbors walking, vacuuming, moving chairs, and using the bathroom upstairs. Otherwise, it was a terrific place to stay!

Lovely Week

The condo was spacious, had everything we needed for cooking, and overall a great location for our first visit to the Outer Banks. Check-in was a breeze and the management company was prompt to answer any questions or address any needs.

We arrived to see that the condo was ready and very clean. We had a problem With the tv and they were quick to fix the issue. All in all it was a great week.

Definitely Coming Back!

We had a wonderful time. The property was clean, updated, and spacious. There was so much space for storage and beach items. We had difficulty with the locks at check-in, but easily got in touch with owner and someone came immediately. We did learn that the lock can overheat, but with simply opening the storm door and giving it air, the code would work. We only had an issue one time at check-in with it. It is across the street to beach access and close to wonderful restaurants. The pool was very nice and the complex was secure. It exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to stay again!

Rough Start, but then it was Great!

Overall, this condo is great. Good size. Nice amenities in the condo. Great location close to all attractions. Right across the street from the beach. However, when we arrived the key code wouldn't work. It was around 5PM, so we just opted to walk down to the beach and burn some time until they called us back, which didn't occur for several hours. Not a huge deal, but kind of threw a curve ball in our arrival. All went well until a couple of days into our stay the HVAC thermostat went wonky and started telling the AC to turn on the heat. We noticed it at 3 AM when it had risen to 87 degrees in the apartment. No problem; just throw open the windows and and enjoy the breeze. The management company was tremendous about getting a repairman out right away that morning though and got the AC working properly again. Even with the silly things that happened, we would definitely stay here again!

Family of 3 - Septemeber

Wonderful and relaxing vacation with the family. There was 3 of us total. Bedrooms are spacious and have there own bathroom. Very clean with updated beach-vibe decor. Walking distance to seafood, beer and beach - what more do you need! Spacious balcony to enjoy the morning sea breeze and your coffee or evening cocktail. Only thing to consider is that the condo is on main road - Virginia Dare Trail road. So there is some traffic flow and car noise going on but mostly during the day hours. Highly recommend this place! Thank you!

The place was beautiful and just as described. Loved the pool.

We had a wonderful experience with First Flight being really easy to work with and very responsive. Others staying at the place were also very friendly and nice. All around great trip and experience! The place felt like home away from home for us!

Nice place your biggest complaint is that we were on a very busy road. Instead of hearing ocean waves we heard motorcycles loud trucks and cars. Played our music loud in an effort to resolve the traffic noise

More Clarity Needed

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The main complaint that I have is that we did not realize when we got there that the only TV available was through streaming services. We were not able to watch regular TV channels, we only had the option of watching streaming services if we had an account. It would’ve been nice to know this before hand. Not everyone does streaming.

Nice stay, Great support from rental manager

The condo was as advertised, beautifully decorated and close to restaurants and of course, the beach. The air condition system went down during our stay and that could have caused issues...but it actually didn't. I immediately texted the folks at First Flight Rentals and they sent out a repairman that day to try and make things right. After the repair, the AC worked for about 24 hours and then went down again. Once again I contacted the rental manager and they sent over a gentleman with a portable AC system and he installed that within 30 minutes, cooling down the bedroom. Apparently the AC is being completely replaced next week so repairs on the old system weren't going to help at this point. We really appreciated the prompt attention by the rental company and we never felt alone during the situation. To make things right, First Flight Rentals also credited our Visa card with funds to ease the situation, no prompting from me. Things go down and maintenance issues are to occasionally be expected, even at a beautiful condo in the OBX. For me it's all about the reaction & support of the rental professionals. OBX stay

Great access to the beach across the road. Good location to restaurants, other attractions. Beachy vibe to the condo. Access to building was cumbersome with a 10-digit key code and a 6-digit entry code to the condo, print it out and keep it with you or keep it in your phone. Management slow to respond to site location and internet network information. Cleanliness could be improved: sofa and bedspread had food stains from previous guests, floors were dirty, and we found a live waterbug the first night of our stay.

Great Beach Stay

This is a beautiful rental with a great location in Kill Devil Hills and Outer Banks generally. We had a minor issue checking in, but First Flight was responsive and quickly addressed the issue. The unit was clean and well maintained with thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

Great OBX getaway!

First, we were thrilled that there is an elevator to get up to the floors. We are all 4 in our mid-70's and we would have had a very difficult time climbing stairs. The condo is clean and pretty and had everything that we needed. Our only disappointment was that all 3 tv's used streaming instead of cable or satellite. We are used to Dish so we had a difficult time with TV. The men could not watch the sports that they desired not could we get the news channels to which we were accustomed. This was the only downer to our visit!

Great beach location!

We loved the condo! It is roomy, clean, and very nicely decorated. It is a very short walk to the beach and conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and a brewery right next door! We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation here and had a blast!

Great place to stay and will stay again next year if available!! Nicely remodeled condo and had that home feel. No complaints at all other than the elevator was slow for only 2 floors up but really not a prob as we used steps most of time anyway being on 1st floor up! Parking was great addition on ground level!!!!!!

Beautiful condo

This property was perfect for my family of 4. Couches were comfy and kitchen was pretty well stocked. Only downfall was the sheets on the bed. They were terrible. Worse than a cheap hotel. I left a note for the property management on this. Softener towels and wash clothes would be better too. This is something I believe is a must. I would of brought my own except I don’t have a king bed. Lol. Over all it was a great place to stay. Maybe the few notes I left behind will make future stays better cause we hope to come back soon.
