Our home is great for a small group of friends or family to base themselves while on holiday in Queenstown, "The Adventure Captial of the World".

THE SPACE

Our home offers cosy accommodation with all new furnishings, design and fit-out. The large kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and crockery and cooking equipment to cater for your culinary needs. All bedrooms offer supremely comfortable beds, luxury linens, warm duvets and plenty of pillows. You can rest assured knowing you have everything you need to enjoy your Queenstown holiday.

The upstairs level has an expansive open plan Kitchen, Living and Dining area opening onto the balcony and taking in a sneak view of the lake. A gas fire creates a cosy ambience together with the built-in Smart TV and comfortable sofas. There is plenty of space for you to all gather over a drink (hot or cold) while preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner at the dining table. Also on this level are laundry facilities including a washing machine, dryer, iron and drying rack.

Downstairs offers thee spacious queen-sized bedrooms. A family bathroom is centrally located next to the bedrooms.

This ideal holiday home offers a multitude of outdoor areas to relax in. The upstairs balcony is ideal for entertaining with a bbq. The upstairs balcony offers a sneaky peak of Lake Wakatipu whilst the downstairs garden is a place to relax or let the kids run around to burn off some energy.

Our holiday home is an easy 15-minutes drive into the heart of Queenstown's restaurants, bars, cafes and attractions. Should you wish to stretch your legs, you are just a enjoy a 10-minute walk down to The Lake. Frankton is just a 2-minute drive and you can enjoy a 5-minute flat walk to the supermarket. The bus is also located just a 2-minute walk away.

Downstairs there are three large bedrooms. The newly renovated bathroom is also on this level, with a bathtub and shower.

This home is a great family home and comes equipped with kids toys, board games and a portable cot.
Guests have the whole space to themselves during their stay.

We prepare the apartment before you arrive, providing you with fresh, clean premium linen and towels. You'll have access to the entire house to treat the property as your own. Please note that during your stay in the apartment will not be serviced.

Guests have access to all internal areas of the property as well as the deck.

We also love to share our wealth of experience in local activities and other recommendations with you. Please feel free to ask us for advice with any of these.

We enjoyed our stay at Douglas St- The bedrooms and living spaces were light, spacious. The biscuits are a nice touch. Heating provided in all bedrooms and heat pumps/ aircon units upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is super user friendly with ample cutlery and crockery and most utensils you would need. The tiled bathroom is modern and ultra clean. While the house was clean on our arrival, our 4 year old found rubbish under the beds in all of the rooms- including an unopened bag of crisps and a box of chocolates. A few things to note: 1.There is a leak in the spouting in the carpark. 2. Some of the information in the book is for the wrong house; “FreshChoice supermarket on Gorge Road is literally 30seconds walk”..? 3. The wifi connection provided with email was incorrect (correct in book though) 4. Advertising a large outdoor area and lake views is misleading. I would definitely suggest that you remove that from your advertising. 5. Sink in bathroom doesn’t drain 6. bathrooms air freshener not working. 7. Kitchen clock hour hand doesn’t move

Great for a family

The house is in a good location, close to the airport and to the lake. We were fortunate to have great weather and to be able to ski and enjoy walks into Queenstown. The house was warm with a heat pump and woodfire upstairs and heat pump downstairs. The bedrooms are a good size. The bathroom is newly renovated with a great shower and bath. There is only one toilet in the house and it is in the bathroom so whilst this worked for us as 4 family members, this could be more challenging for a mixed group. A nice sized dining table and area and the kitchen was well equipped. The lounge area has comfy leather couches and chairs, it is more L shaped so worked for 4 adults but it would be tricky to to sit 6 adults facing each other in the current configuration. When the sun was out, the window bay area with bean bags was a great place to sit and read. Appreciated the availability of a washing machine and dryer. Renee was very responsive as a property manager - we felt the house was not properly cleaned when we arrived and, after a rather unfortunate encounter with a woman who was allegedly responsible for the cleaning, Renee arrived soon after and was very helpful in bringing the house up to a reasonable standard of cleanliness. Would recommend for a family.
