Needs a deep clean
Location and size of property was excellent. It was very roomy with lots of storage space. That’s where the positives end. The cleanliness was non existent. Walls were dirty, dust and grime on skirting, under beds, behind beds and don’t even think of looking behind the washing machine. The kitchen drawers and cupboards were sticky, grimy and had leftovers. There were only four forks, but heaps of spoons! Fridge bottom did not keep food cool, had to throw out food. The bathroom drawers and cupboards were also filthy. No working fans were apparent. One bathroom had a very small tub with marks on it. The second bathroom had water collecting in the shower floor and not draining properly during the shower, with water leaking from the sides. Gross feeling when showering overall given bits of black mould build up. Toilets did not appear to be cleaned properly nor did the walls, and showed signs of leftover vomit from previous occupants. No locks on bathroom for privacy. No mop or broom provided. Balcony door in second bedroom did not lock, nor did one of the the windows in the main bedroom. Past damage from previous occupants on some walls and doors. Lastly promised a parking spot only to find it was taken. Rang management to discuss was told to go to reception only to be told that spot now belonged to Mantra. Ended up parking nearby hoping we wouldn’t be towed. Manager told me he would ring back to follow up, did not happen. Again very spacious and excellent location. However Owner needs to go in and do a deep clean, paint job and repairs. Overall dissatisfied with the accommodation will never return or recommend, not value for money.

Excellent location
Super easy location, close to all amenities. Couple of downsides: * parking in the building is terrible, with a first in first served basis. The numbered carpark for the room is never empty. Suggest removing the "Mantra" carpark paint in front of it. Only managed to park in it once in 11 days. * Lack of linen. Only one towel per person. One bath mat for two bathrooms. One tea towel. All for an 11 day stay. Otherwise a very comfortable, easy space for a lengthy stay.

Expected more
The apartment itself was not to bad although it lacked a holiday feel with sparsely furnished rooms, damage on most walls, broken curtain rails and broken crockery. We were left disappointed with the lack of cleaning products and when we requested more it took 4 days for the management to respond. We were also told that they only supply a minimum and we had run out of cleaner and toilet paper within 2 days. Management did not replace anything till the last day. We were told that we would have a carpark for our hire car which was true but the park reserved for our unit was always occupied. We have to search 3 floors daily just to find a park. We reported to security and they did nothing. For the amount we spent ($5k) for 10 days we would have expected more. The apartment was outdated and run down. I would not recommend it as a luxury apartment. Better accommodation is available at a cheaper price.

I booked this property as a 5 x adults and 3 x night stay. The pick up location for the keys was several hundred meters away at a local convenience store at which time i was given one set of keys!!! - which is required to gain access into the property / access to lifts and into the room which means that it was impossible for anyone other than the 1 x key holder to get access. As this is impractical I immediately contacted MadeComfy and requested options for another key set (offered to pay a further security deposit). Zero response to my enquiry - would be greatly concerned based on the lack of response if i had of lost the one and only key.

Perfect Getaway
This is a perfectly located, spacious and well maintained property. The location lends itself to easy access of many cafes and restaurants, plus the night strip if that’s what you are there for. Also only a short walk to the beach, it is the ideal location for the family.
