Worst VRBO I have ever stayed in
I have stayed in dozens of VRBOs. Hands down this was the worst. Listen, the location was great and the communication with the property manager was great..but thats it.
So when we arrived the cabin was 52 degrees. I tried to set the thermostat & it would not move. So we had to wait on the HVAC company to change the thermostat. I understand problems, however, the guest book on the table already had comments about the broken thermostat. Well lets continue. When we entered I was really shocked at several things.
Master Bedroom. The bead has a massive SAG in the middle. It was propped up on wooden blocks. My wife & I both just rolled downhill to the middle. Of course that led to two back aches. Mgmt was called. They did nothing. The light above the bed had the cheapest of blinds. I like a dark room. You will not get that here. I told mgmt. Nothing was done.
The Kitchen. The counters were sticky. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. The stove top was awful. The top of the fridge was beyond dusty. The microwave had crumbs inside of it.
Washing machine. no washing powder
Master Bath. Cobwebs all around the ceiling & the wooden trim around the panel was completely detached. Mgmt sent someone to fix this.
Dining Room/Bar. There were crumbs in the chair & on the seat covers also in the floor under the table and bar chairs. Gum in floor. The cabin was covered in dust. I mean covered. There was paper in the floor & a broken pretzel. It wont let me type more.
