First, we take cleanliness and pest control very seriously. All of our properties are professionally treated for pests every three months, and this particular property was treated just nine days before your arrival, on August 11th. While an occasional pest can unfortunately make its way into a tropical, oceanfront property, we understand that this is not something a guest wants to encounter during their stay. We will be following up with our pest control vendor and scheduling an additional treatment. We also clean all of the main lanai windows prior to each guest’s arrival. Because this property is literally located on the water, salt air and changing weather conditions can sometimes create challenges with keeping the windows perfectly clear, even with regular cleaning and maintenance. In both cases, we certainly wish we had known about these items while you were in-house. That would have given our team the opportunity to address them for you immediately rather than learning about them after your departure through the review. To any future guests reading this, please don't hesitate to reach out to us during your stay if there is anything you need or if you notice anything that isn't quite right. Our team is here to help, and we always appreciate the opportunity to address concerns while you're with us and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
