We arrived at the building and the digital key to enter did not work because I entered a digit wrong on the check in form so they locked us out. They called that day to tell me, but I don’t have phone service in Spain. What’s app, email or text would have been a way to reach me. We got in to the building when a neighbor let us in, but the digital key and the backup numeric code didn’t work in the apartment door. They sent someone over to fix it and it turned out the whole handle needed replacing. This is an example of the maintenance of the place. A cabinet door was hanging off the hinge. My least favorite part was that the bathroom door opens into the cooking area next to the refrigerator and stove. I realize you do what you can when retrofitting these old buildings. The upside is that it is located on Candelaria Plaza which is one of our favorite plazas in the whole city, with trees and beautiful bougainvillea. I also liked having a kitchen to cook in and windows that block out street noise

Agradable estancia
