Amazing condo with an amazing location

The perfect condo for a family ski vacation at Deer Valley. Just a few minute walk to the chair lifts and Silver Lake lodge, you have everything you need at your doorstep. The condo itself is tremendous, from the well stocked kitchen to the super comfortable living room and bedrooms. Hosts are also super accommodating and kind. Will definitely rebook when our family comes back next year.

Great property, great location

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. A quick & easy walk, even in ski boots, to the lifts! And free ski/pole storage at the lifts made it all so convenient. The property is upscale and the folks in the lobby couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't expect a free car service but they insisted. And our driver appreciated the tips. A wonderful experience at Deer Valley indeed.

Location, Location, Location

Finding a rental with two equivalent en-suite bedrooms is tough anywhere, but #304 at Black Bear Lodge is a great solution. Both bedrooms have king beds and identical bathrooms with shower and jetted tubs. The kitchen offers everything needed. TVs are great once you figure out the double-remote operating process. Nice deck with good hot tub for apre ski. You can walk to 5 star hotel next door to eat or drink. Best part is you walk across the street to Silver Lake Park, check skiies and boots for free, meet a ski instructor or enjoy food & beverage. Mid-mountain lift access is extremely easy. The owner, Kim, is so responsive and helpful. Underground reserved parking also great.

Amazing DV condo!

We loved this condo so much! Cozy and just perfect after a day at the slopes, which are minutes away by foot. Comfy beds, nice kitchen, lots of water pressure and lots of hot water! We really hope to return!

Wonderful Ski Condo - 5 minute walk to lifts

Loved this condo. Large 2 bedroom with a fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub on deck felt fabulous after a long day of skiing. Underground parking. Best of all - a 5 minute walk to the ski lifts. Deer Valley will store your skis overnight for free. What a delight to walk back and forth to the lifts without having to carry your skis. We were welcomed into the condo with a beautiful fruit, nut and meat tray and 2 bottles of wine. What a nice touch. Will happily rent this unit again next time we ski at Deer Valley.

Perfect condo and location

I can’t overstate how perfect the location is. Less than a 5min walk (in ski boots) to the Silver Lake Lodge/lifts. The condo was perfect for our family of 5! Plenty of room, very clean and the third bathroom eliminated the early morning fights when getting ready for the slopes. The furniture was newer than the pictures in the listing. Other reviews said the place was a little dated, but we didn’t find that to be the case at all. It’s rustic, but the pictures show that with the stone fireplace and bare-wood, log walls. I don’t consider that to be dated, especially since it’s exactly as shown in the pictures. Tons of closet storage kept our gear out of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. It GREATLY exceeded our expectations. Looking at dates for 2025 to book again!!!

Perfect Location!

Very nice property and was as expected based on the description. Was there at a quiet time in Deer Valley, which was lovely - The Stein was across the street so great location with beautiful views!

Black bear lodge

When we first got there, we needed a 10 digit code. An e mail came to us 3 times. We could never find the code. We finally got in by using the key!! Thank goodness!! The drapes in the master bedroom were off the wall, and the lamp shades were loose and falling to the side. Then the water faucet in the kitchen didnt work. The corner of the sleeper bed was broken too. Now, saying that all the things got fixed. But when you're on a vacation that's not what you want to worry about.

Great Location and Responsive Host

Spent time here with the family for skiing at Deer Valley. Only issue was the foldout couch bed in one of the bedrooms made it difficult to get to the bathroom. Other than that everything was great. We needed some additional wash clothes and the host responded immediately and we had more the next day. Would stay again!

Christmas Holiday

Our stay was short, but the whole family enjoyed our stay. Beautiful condo, and the view was so pretty. Enjoyed the fireplace and the stocked kitchen with coffee for the adults and hot coco for the kids.

Great property nestled in the pines close to the ski lift.

Clean property nestled in the pines with hotub and fireplace ambiance. 3rd floor view of pines, aspen and the ski slope mountain. Perfect location with a private feel but easy access to all Park City and Deer Valley amenities.

Our family has been coming to Deer Valley and Park City for many years, and it has been a dream of ours to have a place of our own that we can use and share here in Silver Lake Village. From the first day skiing here in Deer Valley--30 years ago-- we couldn't help but be impressed by the ambiance here at the village. In particular, there were 2 things (little touches) that we remember from that first day skiing here... back in the 80's ... in Deer Valley that remain to this day:

There was a soft snow falling, and we were just getting ready to take our first 'chair lift' of the day when one of the ski lift attendants quietly and professionally, and with a smile, swept the accumulating snow off our seats just as we were about to sit down. As we looked back, we noticed that all of the guests/skiers were receiving this beyond-the-call-of-duty treatment! Wow! What a nice touch...

Another touch: Deer Valley was serving meals on real plates and with real silverware (not paper plates and plastic utensils) ... something that was unheard of at the time in the 1980's... at least at ski resorts..

So much for the old memories ... and here's to the new memories yet to be lived!
