This is a great unit. Stayed for a week. Sadly it rained so we did not have an opportunity to use the patio space. Checkin was easy. We had 2 issues that we communicated to management and they said they would be addressed.

Check in was a little confusing.The appartment was good and had everything that was needed.The outdoor space was a great bonus.Location of area was fairly central.Grocery store and restaurants near by.The supplied parking in the parking garage was a real plus.Overall a good experience

Amazing appartment so clean with all commodities. Perfect bathroom. Huge terrace. There is a big grocery store at the end of the street. Sure there are working ladies but they are very respectful. Leo was amazing with all the support and advice he provided

Great Stay

Great stay, great apartment and the host was very responsive. The only issue was it was next to a noisy street with an adult establishment. It was subtle enough that my child didn't even notice, but it was right there. We ignored that business and had a great time though. We loved sitting on the patio and exploring the beautiful ciry of Porto.

Fabulous apartment

Lovely clean apartment in walkable distance to the old town. The outside terrace was a great space and the apartment is extremely well equipped. Jeronimo and Leo were very helpful.The apartment is on a noisy street with 24 hour traffic hence the lower score for location. A great few days in Porto.

This apartment is beautiful with all the amenities, the hosts are helpful and kind, and the location is perfect. It’s a great space to go to at the end of a long day. It’s lovely.

Well equipped and stylish apartment with private terrace.

Convenient location for metro and all tourist sites. Well equipped with everything needed for a stay. Check in really worked well for us. The only downside for us was the traffic and general street noise at night (but as country dwellers we aren't used to that so urban visitors would probably not find it an issue!). An enjoyable stay in a vibrant, friendly city.

Excellent, perfect location!

This was our second time staying at this wonderful apartment. The location is close to everything, we walked to the market, river area, tower and took metro to the ocean and Gaia, all very convenient.The apartment has everything you need, 2 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room, dining room and large terrace. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so the terrace was disappointingly not used.The area has most of the restaurants that were on our list during our first stay and we went back again to a few this time. Lots to eat and drink close by. We even went to Fado at a local restaurant one evening and felt safe walking home at night.Highly recommend this apartment, the owner and his staff are very accommodating and provide lots of good information!!

Great place to stay near the city centre

A spacious, clean and comfortable apartment close to the city centre and a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Check in was smooth as we were met by our host despite a 2 hour flight delay. One minor downside is the night-time noise of a busy street below.

Lovely clean and spacious unit. Very responsive host.

The place was great inside but the outdoor noise level was loud pretty much all night and into the morning both Sunday and Monday nights we stayed there. There were two or three places that drew people to the street and we didn’t feel safe.

Decor amazing

Apt is beautifully decorated, beds are very comfortable. Location is excellent for metro, supermarket & main attractions. Property Manager is very knowledgeable, great advice on places to go & see. Street outside is lively & there is building working going on next door, which didn’t impact on us as we were out all day but might impact if you are looking for a long lie in bed.

Better than 5 star apartment in Porto

The apartment was superb in every way. Beautifully furnished with top quality furnishings and fittings, and right in the centre of Porto, with all attractions within walking distance. Host was so welcoming and ensured my stay was so much better than I expected. I will be recommending the host to my friends in Australia. Thank you, Jeronimo

A short walk to the centre of the city. V well equipped possibilly with the exception of the toaste

Excellent flat and good location. Clean, very well equipped kitchen except for the toaster. Building works next door caused a problem as a huge amount of drilling was going on behind the party wall.

Great Apartment

Apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay in Porto. Host was excellent. Met us at the apt and explained everything as well as providing an overview of the neighborhood. Metro stop is a close 5 minutes away and easy connections to everywhere. Bedrooms front on a busy street so if a light sleeper that might be an issue. Overall a great place to stay in Porto.

Good, but could have been a bit better...

The apartment itself is quite charming and was very clean. We did have some initial check-in communication problems with the host due to having the wrong telephone number (we had to contact VRBO to get things straightened out), but after that got sorted out it was fine. The dishwasher was not in working condition so that was a disappointment (needs fixing or replacing). Also, we had problems with the oven a couple of times where the heating element would turn off on its own (turning the circuit breaker on and off seemed to fix the problem for awhile). There is some street noise, as others have mentioned, but we didn't find it that bad. More notable is the major apartment building reconstruction taking place next door - there was quite a bit of construction noise during the day. Lastly, there are a few "businesses" close to the apartment - one a few doors down on the same side of the street, and the other a few doors down on the other side. The ladies didn't bother us, but others may not feel comfortable with that type of activity nearby. Again, good, but could have been a bit better.

Nice Apartment - Good Location - Busy Street

The photos and description are accurate. It is a very nice apt. Outdoor patio is wonderful. From front entrance on the street it is 20+ steps up a winding staircase to apt. Porto is far from level so many steep ups and downs but definitely walkable to many attractions. We also used Uber which was easy. Bolhao Open Air Market is about a 9 minute walk and there is a nice grocery store just a block away so super convenient. Very good restaurants nearby. Though only a block long the street is very busy and traffic noise can be an issue even very late at night. No a/c so nice to leave windows open but then traffic noise becomes a bigger problem. Not a big deal but the dishwasher wasn't working. The owner was away when we arrived but he sent a nice young man to meet us so checking into the unit was very smooth. Could have used more instructions on the use of the stove and washing machine but other than the traffic noise the apartment was great. If we return to Porto we would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful contemporary apt with large terrace

The apartment was on the second floor of an older building, but was easy to get up the stairs. Once you do, it's beautiful! Totally remodeled, 2 bedrooms, large kitchen with full size fridge and washing machine. Large sitting room with tv and dining room with table and chairs. The highlight is the terrace which is exactly as shown in the pictures and it is private. Just make sure not to close the sliding door when you go out as it locks from the inside! I do agree with a previous review that the noise from the street goes on all night, if you're a light sleeper you may need to move to the sofa as I did. Great location, walked everywhere in Porto and convenient to 2 metro stations. We walked to the market most mornings. Good, local restaurants very close by, no need to go too far for a delicious meal! The only thing that may be offputting is that there are at least 2 doors ways, 1 across the street and 1 a few doors down that "ladies of the night" do business from. They are there day and night, which was a little off putting, but they did not bother us. Oh and there is construction next door,,, the walls were ripped out and you could see in from the terrace. Noise started at 8am and went until 5pm during the week. We weren't home during those times so it was no bother but looks like it could go on for a while. All in all, a beautiful place within walking distance to all Porto has to offer, highly recommend!
