Pascale was a wonderful host whose home was a dream for us. The 4 bedrooms all have their own bathrooms, and everything was clean, comfortable and enjoyable. The actual outdoors area is better than in the pictures with two lovely shade trees and a dining table and chairs for 8 which allowed us to have meals and relaxation time in the shade outdoors most of the days. The location on the lake (with a fantastic view) made it easy for us to buy groceries, cook at home, enjoy swimming and kayaking, and settle in for the week. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils needed - more than I would expect. The AC worked (bedrooms only), as did the washing machine, dishwasher, etc.. There is parking for cars inside the gate - just be careful with bigger cars! There is recycling and trash dropoff 200m away and compost outdoors just past the herb garden. For activities, the bike path is behind the house and there is a bike rental company across the street (200-300m walk) which is also right by the bus stop (free bus to Annecy in the summer). The port about 200m away also rents electric boats and paddle boats. The only complaint is that other people will rent it before we can book again! ;)
