wonderful stay

We had a fantastic stay at this stunning lakeside property. We swam in the crystal-clear water, kayaked, relaxed on the beautiful lawn, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the nearby city and historic castles. The house itself was amazing. Perfect vacation.

Gorgeous Lakeside Home & Garden

We stayed as a family here between city sightseeing trips and loved the atmosphere, natural beauty, immaculate and very comfortable home, as well as the kind and attentive hosting by the Montant family. It is a gorgeous area, walks to grocery and some restaurants or 15 min drive to Annecy Old Town and all the lovely social life there by the canal. Absolutely loved our time here. The welcome book and wine cellar were especially nice touches, and both very well used 😌

Location, Location and a Superb Villa

This is a superb villa in an enviable position on the lake but so close to the pretty villages of Menthon and Veyrier. We had superb weather which allowed us to easily make use of the facilities and the location. Michel and Alexandra were perfect hosts and the facilities in the Villa and the information provided were exceptional. We loved the Kayak provided at the Villa, the cinema room, Wine cellar with wines you could purchase, location, coffee machine (we made very good use of) - and coffee capsules provided, all the little touches ie shower gel, beautiful soaps, tastefully decorated bedrooms, lounge and we loved hearing about Michel's story about the inspiration for the Villa name. We hired a boat from Point Bleu, and they delivered it to the pontoon at the bottom of the garden. Book this villa now you will not be dissapointed!!

Holiday perfection!

This was our second year of going to this villa and it won't be the last. The location is great, just 5 minutes drive to the main town and a couple of minutes to local shops but far enough away to enjoy peace and quite with the lake at the bottom of the garden. The villa is to a good standard throughout and very clean with everything we needed there for our large group. Michel and Alexandra looked after us amazingly well and they could not have been more accommodating with our requests, they were on hand if needed but left us to enjoy our little slice of paradise when not needed. Thank you very much for another fantastic holiday Michel and Alexandra

spectacular

Being that I was turning 60 in August, I was looking for an extraordinary property on Lake Annecy that would accommodate up to 10 of my friends and family.. The property was tres belle, right on the eastern side of the lake, the house was tres moderne (hard to keep clean, however, as everything was white) and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and very accessible. We had a superb time. Our only adverse comment as all of may family and myself wished that they would have provided more water toys such as more than one kayak, a few stand up paddle boards, even a row boat.

Beautiful Family Villa

Thank you Michel and Alexandra for a wonderful experience. The villa was a perfect extended home for our family during our stay. Positioned on the lakes edge it has beautiful views and is close to skiing, walks along the lake or a visit to Annecy. The villa is large suitable for a family and beautifully appointed.

exquisite holidays for everyone

Thank you for the most wonderful time at the villa Bagatelle. It exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was luxurious, a perfect retreat with all particular needs, wants and spontaneous whims catered for, especially because this was our first holiday with our twin baby boys of 3 months. We had particular demands and needs as we wanted to relax, be at times at peace and at times having the opportunity to invite friends and family to stay with us. all was easily possible and proactive solutions were made available to us without any hesitation. The grounds are simply stunning and very well-kept(obviously an exquisite landscape architect must have been at play). The outside seating area is very contemporary and generous from which one can overlook the most beautiful lake not only by oneself but also with nice group of friends/family. Once the babies in bed, we particularly enjoyed the hot tub where we enjoyed many discussions and could gaze at the stars and relax! The view, one would never tire of it, be it day or night. a truly truly exquisite location, villa and service. It was exciting to discover the local area and your help and advice was much appreciated. A totally relaxing experience and one we would recommend to anyone who is looking for something very special. Thank you for a most wonderful time and place.
