Great community! We planned as a last minute trip. It was not as close as we thought to beach. Definitely bring a wagon to haul gear.

Overall the stay was great. easy access to the beach, local restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Pools are clean and large. We would certainly stay here again.

This house is perfect!

Easiest check and out we’ve ever had. Property was excellent, spaced out and away from the other properties in the complex, yet easy to access the pool, hot tub and beach. Highly recommend and we will be returning!

Privacy, quiet, great location

Short 5 day stay. Great home for 5 people. Very clean. Beware of stairs are steep for those with mobility concerns. Really enjoyed our stay, would stay again.

Great Stay at Seagrove

The property is well depicted in the photos and was very nice. Not on the pool but just a short walk away which gives some added privacy. The reservation process was a little complicated as there is a management company renting on top of homeaway but the check in and service were flawless.

Perfect fit

Our family of five was very comfortable in this Bungalow. It was in a great location to all we needed. Kitchen was fully-equipped, however, the skillets need to be replaced and it would be helpful to have a recycling bin and full-sized kitchen trash can. The linens were all fresh and clean and the beds were suprisingly comfortable!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful stay! Our place was so comfortable and clean and had all the little extra amenities that we needed. I was worried about the walk being too far to the beach but was pleasantly surprised when we got there that it was no problem at all! It’s nice to have our street right at a boardwalk entrance and a Tom Thumb gas station to stop and get ice and sunscreen on our way to the beach. Great location! Our kids loved being close to the pools to soak in after a long day in the sand. The beds were super comfortable and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Cute & comfortable with easy beach access

Cute house in a great location. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and a convenience store, and a stone's throw from the community pool. The house was stocked with basics and I was able to make a few meals in the kitchen. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate. The walls had mysterious smudges and the floors were dirty enough to leave our socks black but after a quick call to our host, Real Joy, cleaners came within an hour and got the floor much cleaner. The kids enjoyed the games that were provided and the balcony was pleasant for my husband to sit on to get some work done. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

Perfect

This is a perfect location on 30a. It was just a short bike ride to seaside and food locations like old Florida fish house. And although we road our bikes to the beach, it was only a short walk straight down the side street to the beach access. We were in a bungalow that had a front yard and more secluded than the other bungalows there. We did use the pool which my 9year old loved. Never made it to the pond to give a review on that. We made a day of bike riding and rode down to rosemary and Alys (it took approximately 1 hour to do but we did have children 9,11,16,17. I enjoyed it, but they did not). The beds were comfortable. The bungalow cooled well. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and the grill was nice. I would stay here again and 100% recommend this bungalow and location.

Quiet haven close to the beach

This was the perfect base for my family's beach vacation. The unit is off by itself, away from the other bungalows, but still just a few steps from the pool. We always had plenty of parking, right in front of the door, which you don't get with some of the other units. The beach is a 5-minute walk but you have to cross a busy street and there's no ramp down which was hard with a cart so I would recommend driving to a different beach. We went to a new beach every day and it was wonderful. My favorites were actually in the state parks (Grayton & Topsail). After a sun-filled day, we loved coming home to this quiet piece of heaven. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Comfy beds and my two kids loved the bunk bed. Bring an air mattress if you have more than 5 people because the pull-out couch bed is awful. But the living room is big enough to accommodate an air mattress so it was perfect.

Property was great communication with property manager was very poor

Given the current situation with COVID I would have expected more communication from the property manger. Early on we were thinking of cancelling due to the COVID situation and the property manager was almost unresponsive and very rigid once we finally did connect. It was disappointing to say the least. I would definitely visit the area again but likely will avoid RealJoy properties.

Long Walk

Upon arriving, the master bathroom was not clean. I cleaned it myself. Disappointed. It was also a small (kid size) bathtub (everybody ain’t skinny). The listing about beach access wasn’t thorough. The beach access takes you to a private beach, you have to walk another 200+ yards once on beach access to public beach (overall LONG walk). It did not have extra rolls of toilet paper, only 1 roll per bathroom was given. For guests staying a week, family, that’s not enough. This particular bungalow is fit for a small family of 4-5 max. It’s very narrow and small. One other thing, there were no oven mitts. We had to use dish towels to take things out of the oven. Overall, our stay was fine but I definitely would not choose to go back and stay here. No offense. Just didn’t suit us how we would like for the money. I could list more decor things and suggestions but I’ll stop.

I would give a 3.5. The concept is nice, the location of this bungalow is great, being that it's away from the rest of the homes and parking is right in front. Like previous review, it could have been a tad cleaner upon arrival. Scratches on the walls, stairwell flooring, things like that could have been addressed. Main con for us was the living room furniture not comfortable or adequate for 6. Master bath drain was clogged, finally got it unclogged night before departure. Pros were the location, short doable walk to beach, quiet area, the complex pool was nice and clean. Bedroom decor was well done. Washer and dryer also a plus. We enjoyed the Guess Who and Jenga games provided during the rain. The exterior of the home is exactly as it appears in the pics. If we return to the Bungalows it will be a different one that has more beds in the second bedroom. Overall I don't regret this booking. The listing refers to the Hub. We rode rented bikes there (3.5 miles) , the concert was fun but $4.50 for a bottle of water and $9 for a milkshake. Pricey when you have 4 kids. Seaside is beautiful but $ gauges as well. I will say that we didn't have to deal with ill mannered people, everyone we came across was nice.

Very Unclean

We were so very disappointed in this rental. The location and the unit itself was good but oh my goodness the cleanliness was horrific. When we walked in the unit smelled terrible like vomit. The kitchen floors were sticky and there were cigarette butts on the upstairs balcony floor and table. We found the source of the smell… someone had vomited in the bottom of the kitchen trash can and it was never cleaned up. There was a trash liner placed in the can on top of the vomit. I took the trash can outside to wash it with the hose and the hose did not work. I had to take it a neighboring faucet to wash out. There were no cleaning supplies at all in the unit, to be able to disinfect it. When we called the management company they stated that since it was after 5 pm we had to wait until the following day for any resolve. I was not going to stay in a unit that smelled so terrible and was so dirty. I had to assume that the sheets and towels were probably dirty as well considering the condition of the unit. My youngest grandchild was crying to go home because it smelled so terrible. We did not stay and luckily for us we found a much better location that was clean, beautiful and so accommodating. The very disappointing thing is that the management company only offered to reimburse us a fraction of the cost of the stay and we were not even in the unit for 1 hour. I have had to make the decision to dispute the payment with my credit card company to get my money back. This to me was unacceptable. While the person I dealt with at the management company was kind and understanding, the fact that they would not refund my money was unbelievable. I will not rent from this management company again and I wish that the owners of this unit knew of the situation. Just glad that there are nice people in this world that helped us to find a last minute spring break rental so that my daughter and her family could have a fun spring break for their first visit to the gulf coast.

Great location, great experience

We loved the fact that this was tucked away in a quiet little corner. Never heard a sound from any other neighbor. Although the house was a little small for our party of five, it worked out great. It was such a quick ride to the beach and not too bad of a ride to downtown Seaside. We did have to replenish TP, paper towels and trash bags as these were minimal, but it was stated in the description. Also had to purchase salt, pepper, cooking spray, coffee filters, etc as none of that was provided. But everything was neat and tidy and the beds and linens were super comfy! The pool was really nice when we needed a break from the beach. It's bigger than it looks in the photo. I thought it would be like a dinky motel pool but it was actually really nice. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect!

The location of our bungalow was perfect! We were close to both pools yet tucked away from other bungalows. The walk to the beach was very easy. Everything was exactly as it was described. If this same group goes to beach together again, we would definitely stay here. Convenient to both Destin and PCB.

Perfect Location!

Our bungalow was in the perfect location- set back in a private corner but super close to the community pool & spa and just 2 blocks from the beach access. It was the perfect space for our family of 6 & we would definitely book this place again! So thankful for the memories created on our family vacation! One thing we would recommend is updating the pocket doors to they slide easier & ensuring the outdoor light & hose are on/in working order. Otherwise- a great experience!
