Spacious apartment, helpful owners

I stayed in this apartment twice during May, 2013, while working in the area. It is comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, with a lovely garden outside for the use of guests (including a table, so you can eat outside). It was extremely clean and all appliances worked very well. The owners were very friendly and accommodating about arrival and departure times. They live upstairs, so it was easy to ask questions if I needed to, but they were also very respectful of my privacy. The apartment is not in the centre of Florence, but it's connected to the centre by several buses (taxis into the centre cost about 10-12 euros), and the shopping nearby is very good - there are also some good cafes and a particularly good gelato place right down the street. It's on a busy road, but it is quiet at night, and the neighbourhood is very safe and secure. It's also close to the hills outside Florence, for those who like to walk in the countryside. I will certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to single people, couples, or small families looking to visit Florence without staying in the hot, overcrowded, noisy centre.

Stupenda! Confortevole, comoda, giardino da godere

La casa è anche più bella e grande rispetto a quanto si percepisce dalle foto. Appartamento gradevole, pulito e confortevole. Giardino piacevolissimo, con anche l'opportunità di vedere una famiglia di scoiattoli che ogni tanto passa dal giardino per andare a bere. Antonella ed Alberto i proprietari, sono persone squisite, Miriana, loro figlia è molto garbata ed ospitale. La posizione dell'appartamento è discreta, a circa 35 minuti di autobus dal centro città. Spero di tornarci e la consiglierò senza dubbio ad amici e parenti. Esperienza decisamente positiva, ambiente adatto sia per gli adulti che per i bambini!

wonderful stay

The aprtment is located in a nice area of Florence. It is outside the most touristy area but it takes 20 minutes to get to the Duomo by bus, and 40 minutes walking, and it is a really nice walk. From the aprtment one can hike up to Fiesole and go for a run around the nearby Artemio Franchi stadium. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby. I spent two months and I found the location and the premises wonderful. It was particularly nice to make a cup of expresso in the morning and to sit outside in the garden and watch and listen to the birds and enjoying the flowers. Even though it is in a somewhat busy street the aprtment is quiet, it was very clean and the fact that the owners live upstairs makes dealing with any contingencies easy and fast. Both Alberto and Antonella are wonderful hosts and I hope to stay at their place again if I come back for another long stay in Florence

I don't know what this means

The apartment is very nice and we enjoyed it a great deal.it was very clean and easily accessible. The biggest problem is the noise.it is very close to the street and there is a lot of foot traffic and vehicular traffic as well. We can also hear every footstep and chair movement upstairs. Also, you need to ask your daughter to give more info about the apartment at check in. For example, we just found the bedroom shutters today when we checked out. We had been sleeping on the couch because of the light and noise in the bedroom. She also had to come back and show us how to turn on tv and didn't know anything about the washing machine. Everything else was fine. Thanks

Residenza Fontebuoni

I had the pleasure of being a guest at Residenza Fontebuoni for two weeks this spring. It was a terrific experience. The apartment is fabulous. Very spacious, with an incredibly large and well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, one of which was large enough to hold a party! Very comfortable beds and tons of closet space with hangers. It has a beautiful outdoor patio and garden. It is within walking distance of bus routes, grocery stores, shops, restaurants and anything else you might require. My hosts, Alberto and Antonella were extremely warm and welcoming. I intend to recommend this accommodation to my friends who are planning to visit Florence in the future. In fact, I would recommend this apartment to anyone who plans on visiting Florence.

Oltre ogni aspettativa!

La descrizione contenuta nell'inserizione non rende appieno la bellezza dell'appartamento e la cordialità dei proprietari. Pulizia, silenzio, cura dei dettagli sono sorprendenti. Il proprietario mi è venuto a prendere in auto in stazione e mi ha invitato a cena a casa. Non mi è mai capitato un'accoglienza di questo tipo.

Very nice appartment

We had a wonderful stay during the World Championships in Cycling. Very close to the tracks. The renter is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is situated very close to the center of Florence, however you are not bothered by the traffic in the city. Sono stato un giorno ospite con grande piacere dai miei amici Alberto e Antonella. Subito sono rimasto colpito dall'ambiente spazioso, curato e accogliente in cui hanno scelto di vivere. Mi è piaciuto moltissimo il bel giardino, su cui dà la loro casa e l'appartamento/dependance in cui mi hanno ospitato. In questo appartamento ci sono ben due bagni, un soggiorno e una camera da letto spaziosi, e una cucina abitabile indipendente. Ho avuto a disposizione non una camera, ma un intero appartamento con ingresso separato. Senza dimenticare poi che Alberto e Antonella si fanno apprezzare anche per la loro gentilezza e l'ospitalità.
