Amazing property and condo!

Great location on an amazing beach. Loved that it was a quick walk to the grocery store and tons of food trucks. Free shuttle also a great bonus and rental team was very quick and helpful. We will be back!

Amazing!

We have stayed on Maui 4 time and this was by far our best experience! I will rent from Maui vacation rentals from now on! The process to get checked in was so smooth and detailed information was provided well before check in. Our stay at the resort was perfect and everything and everyone was so nice. Thank you!!

Quiet and Peaceful

Honua Kai Konea Tower was a wonderful respite and very quiet. The rooms on the inside of the tower are noisy and hot, while this one is shaded and not at all noisy. The walls are thin, so you can easily hear noise from the neighbors. The room has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. It would be nice if the carpet was replaced with hardwood flooring, the carpet is a little stained, and the humidity makes it feel damp. Otherwise the room was perfect.

Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended. The suite was exactly as described and the hosts were very accommodating and accessible with any requests we had. Some recommendations would be to supply the kitchen with very basic items (tinfoil, parchment paper, plastic wrap, ziplock bags) these items are not included and not something we would have thought we needed to purchase.A small assortment of spices, and sugar only salt and pepper was provided. Larger coffee mugs. Kitchen disinfectant spray (no cleaning supplies provided) Other than those few items the suit was well equipped with everything we needed. We had an amazing vacation and perfect for anyone looking for a beautiful 1bdr suite with beautiful views and proximity to the resort and beach.

Another Wonderful Trip to Maui, But This Condo Was Not Well Equipprd.

This was our fifth trip to Hanua Kai, so we really like this property. The property has wonderful amenities that we take full advantage of. However, the unit we stayed in was not well-equipped. The icemaker in the refrigerator did not work. The toaster didn’t work and had to be replaced. What kind of condo rental does not have a cutting board?! The cooking utensils in the kitchen we’re not sufficient to make a decent meal. We had stayed in a condo in Kona on the big Island before arriving in Maui, and it was extremely well-equipped. This made the experience in the condo at Hanua Kai even more noticeable.

Great location and unit.

Great 3rd floor unit in the Konea Tower. Six night stay for 2 adults and our 15 yr. old son. Plenty of room. Love the patio with the "Nana" doors. Maui Rentals delivered us an extra blanket for the day bed with some needed coffee filters within minutes of our request. I'm sure we'll be back.

Great location with quiet ocean view

Absolutely wonderful location in Konea tower. Easy access to garage and quick to get to lazy river and slide pools. Beautiful view of the ocean overlooking a park - nice and quiet and relaxing at night and during the day. Wonderful experience!

Great Resort, Great Location, Great Price

We loved our stay! The property was exactly as listed with all the amenities of a high end resort and comfort and convenience of a condo. Easy walkable location down the beach boardwalk and just a short drive to Old Town. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and convenient

Rented 3 different rooms for friends and family. Everyone was very impressed with their rooms and the entire resort. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great for families with younger kids

Honua Kai is a great property and is in a good location. The unit is very comfortable and has great amenities. The pools however are average and a bit on the small side for the number of people in the resort. My teenage daughters didn't really love it. I think the main issue I believe is that the beach is below average and rocky so everyone is in the pool. This makes it very crowded. Since I have a daughter that loves to get in the ocean I would probably stay at another location on my next visit to Maui.

Great văcarii rental!

Apartament 344 in Konea tower was great! Spacious with great balcony and partial ocean view were a plus! It was clean, with all appliances functioning and with all that one needs in the kitchen. The property is great and we enjoyed the amenities offered. We loved staying there and looking forward to be back!

Lovely Unit in a Fantastic Resort

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the space was large and comfortable. Beach toys, chairs, and a cooler were provided for our use. Towels were large and high quality (love that). The grounds were beautiful and the pool was very enjoyable – lots of great seats, a variety of pools and hot tubs – even a slide – and poolside food/drink service! The beach was easily accessible and a there was even a food truck park next door. We also enjoyed the little markets on site, grocery store and restaurants within walking distance, and Duke's Restaurant on the property. One word of caution – the climate in Maui is a haven for roaches. I saw them around the complex, indoors and out. Keeping the kitchen clean and taking out the trash AFTER EVERY USE definitely helped to minimize their presence in the unit. If you have any trouble, do call the maintenance number and they will help by putting out traps and even spraying the unit, as soon as someone is available. Don't hesitate. The bugs aren't unique to Honua Kai, but their positive service when I called to ask for help was certainly appreciated!

We loved the location. And the hotel amenities, excluding towel service, were all included during our stay. The management company was so responsive and called to even ask if we needed anything. Great family place to stay and so much to do in walking distance.

Condo was just as it was pictured on the website. Nicely furnished bed was comfortable. Nice large bath. Kitchen was great. Two items I would put in suggestions invest in some new pillows and upgrade the cable system. Cable guide did not cover all channels and in the bed room could not access the guild at all.
